worley · 14/04/2009 12:19

my ballot papers have arrived, im going to vote to strike as they are refusing to pay us all of our back pay, they owe me 4 years now and some of them 6 years but the hospital only want to pay 3 years, even though they have been told they have to pay it according to the goverments agenda for change thing they brought in for nhs staff.
the thing thats got us all peed off is that they paid the physios their back pay but not us, do the management think that we dont talk to each other or something and think we wont find out???

plus i have plans for the money, im already thinking of putting in a woodburner, new carpet on the stairs and if i have enough left putting the dividing wall back up between the front room and back room (instead of the 1 big room we have now,i want to shut the door on the mess and have 1 tidy room at least!)

VoodooWithBellsOn · 14/04/2009 14:04

Voodoo what a bummer. Hope the undead are feeling a little more human How are you?

Macdog. Sounds like you had a fab time.

Worley you know nothing surprises me about work now.

Went to Rufford Old Hall and had a lovely time and picnic in the grounds with BIL. I put a leg of lamb in the oven in a pot with a load of cherry tomatoes, marinating in lemon garlic thyme and oregano and slow cooked it. Did a tray of potatoes cut very finely and cooked them in garlic and lemon and olive oil too. They were to DIE for. Absolutely delicious. We ate it outside with a greek salad. The perfect end to a lovely day.

worley · 15/04/2009 09:10

jenn, if you ever need another job i think i will employ you as my personal chef everything you make sounds so delish.

Jennster · 15/04/2009 09:38

Aw thanks Worley. Hope you get the sleep you need. I'm not looking forward to having to find childcare like that.

Macdog · 15/04/2009 20:04

Just been having a look at children's names registered the year dd was born - she was the only one of her name registered!

(here)

Believe it or not, there was a poor child dubbed with the moniker ......... Porphyria

Pure dead classy, so it is

OP posts:
Jennster · 15/04/2009 22:41

193 dds

Jennster · 15/04/2009 22:44

Can't beleive there weren't any Malarias, Anaemias or Haemophilias. Mind they are probably darling porphyria's sisters born in different years.

Jennster · 15/04/2009 22:54

believe

Jennster · 15/04/2009 23:02

OMG I can't beleive there are more Dds than Mackenzies! Every other child (male and female) in Liverpool is called Mackenzie.

Jennster · 15/04/2009 23:03

Shoot done it again. Believe. Gees time for bed. Obviously England records would show a different story.

Macdog · 16/04/2009 08:58

Been trying to find corresponding list for England, but no joy

Naah Scotland is far more transparent. All SMPs have their expenses scanned into computer and displayed for all to see. None of your claiming for plasma TV shenanigans over the border.
