Bit of happy news - dd got a pre-school place in the Primary School across the road. Starts August

Hey brill news Macdog. We viewed the local primary school today. It doesn't have a great Ofsted report (although it's 2 years old) and has had a new Head for nearly one year. It was actually really nice. All the children were polite and friendly and happy, but there are only 115 pupils so in old money 1st and 2nd year juniors and 3rd and 4th year juniors share classes. It's so tricky thinking about schools. There is a really good one a bit further away, but we couldn't walk there.

The schools round here are all much the same.

my dd is such a youngie ie not 3 till end June I am burying my head a bit about the preschool/nursery thing..

am waiting on 2 nurseries for a september place...fingers crossed. If that doesnt work I havent a clue what to do

had an easter workshop at one of our kids centres today. so much fun. got loads of bulbs dd planted and 2 packs free seeds, mini choc eggs and dd waon a pot o jam in the raffle

made ds and dd bunny ear headbands with silver card. he looked very cute. till he ate soil out of one of the bulb pots while I wasnt looking. and then ate a feather from the easter card making room. maybe i should watch him a bit closer!!

happy easter, i have 2 gold bunnies i havnt given to the boys yet, ds1 thought it was easter weekend last week so he was a disapointed bunny.

had a fabby time at butlins this week, have to admit i thought it was going to be a little bit crap but will eat my words as it was fantastic. good weather, good entertainment (we watched a circus hilarius thing which had every one in histerics,danny the clown was brilliant he made the show, we watched ruth lorenzo from the x factor, the cartoon network show and last night it was dora the explora, go diego go and ming ming from the wonder pets, which ds2 loved, he danced and clapped al the way through, shoutging out at them on the stage!)

ds2 cant wait to go again, so i guess we will be going back again next year.

jenn, i have the love film voucher, it has 2 free months rental if you want it, i have another 1 spare as well if anyone else wants it, or know of anyone who would like it? mail me your address and i will send it to you, i even have stamps in my purse!

ds2 wants to go on his space rockets now... one of the fair rides he has been on at least 3 times a day for the past 3 days, hecouldnt get enough of it. night night

now going to pck the puup dog up from the kennels, its all ds2 has gone on about. he got up this morning and walked in to living room saying hello roman, got to his kennel and said, oh wheres roman gone? on holiday?
i think hes going to be ,ega excited to see him back today
i have to sort out an easter egg hunt for the boys later, i wasnt going to bother this year but then ds1 was asking when we were going to be doing it this weekend, so think maybe i had better do it for them then. i havnt wrote any clues out or anything, i normaly write clues out to find the next clue etc etc directing them to their stash of eggs at the end.

ha I might do some easter egg clues to keep dh interested too

had a dreadful migraine the other day, couldnt move my head. codydramol didnt help at all. was crying to myself without actually crying as would have made it even more unbearable! havent had one of those for ages, reckon its the finishing bf and hormonal switch-er-oos

That poor woman? Not heard about it but that sounds like a pretty fing stupid thing to do.

Got roast chicken for dinner tonight, and hopefully we will be eating it outside on the patio. Just got to get dh to dig the table out of the garage. I am SOOOO tired. We didn't get to bed until midnight, and the dc were up at 7, having had to pee at 4 and 5 when ds did a couple of minutes of crying. By the time I hauled myself out of bed (without the use of a wynch it's quite difficult) he had stopped and was sound asleep. The weather is gorgeous here. Going to the dps tomorrow for lunch, and then Easter Monday, thinking of going here
