i went horsy riding down the beach, when i got off my legs all went funny and i didnt think they were going to work but they did, they still ache now, and i have to do the night duty so im hoping its a quiet one. i didnt book to go again as off to butlins next week, and not on a night again till end of april. plus it was £25 for a hour i remember when it was about £6 for a jumping lesson! so maybe i will treat myself once a month. but had a grat time.

got potatoes boiling to make them all cheese and potato pie for tea, then all dp has to do is put the chipolatas in. mmmmmmmmm

VoodooWithBellsOn · 30/03/2009 15:45

mmmmmmmmm
I want worleys cheese/sausage pie and macdogs beef stew concoction. what have I got? a Toffeepop biscuit to keep me going. Dinner tonight...something to do with the nice sirloin steak I bought!

had my first shift on sunday, what a mixed day. had a customer who hugged me, some Liverpudlian millionaires and a bee-atch who complained about me as I didnt let her queue jump. Ah the blessed British public. Mad as hatters! Good to be back in the retail saddle! I am jealous, worley, but my coccyx would not thank me for leaping back on a horse.

Macdog · 30/03/2009 16:30

there is a fab movie knowledge quiz on the homepage of lovefilm...nb. if you arent in it yet I can email you my link and then I get £ for recommending a friend..

we are trying it for a bit as we seem to be spending a lot on dvds/viewing dvds through cable, so should be fun. Weve got Eden Lake coming first ((very very very scary))

have you lot seen Adrift? so so frightening and involves breast feeding!
have a great day

VoodooWithBellsOn · 31/03/2009 14:38

Macdog · 31/03/2009 17:55

Watched adrift when it was on at the weekend - found it so hard to watch because of baby screaming. really got to me (which is the whole point)

Am sitting here miserable because one of my neighbours thinks it's perfectly normal to comment on how fat I am - and believe me I KNOW how fat I am. Unfortunately when I get misreable I eat, so typing away to try and stop bingeing.

Joinng the gym when dd starts nursery on April 20th (and counting ......)

Took dd out on her bike yesterday. When we came home I took her helmet off and she had the ring of shame on her forehead
Forgot we bought that helmet when she was nearly 1
Trotted off to Argos, and she is now the (very) proud owner of this set!

(is currently wearing the elbow/knee pads to eat breakfast!)

hooray had great day in sunshine in garden. my mum came up so we had lovely pub lunch then went to garden centre,
she bought me an ornamental tree in a smart metal pot, I got a strawberry plant and a wild bird coconut munch thing for our bluetits.

my mum then wandered round my garden nicking cuttings off everything
Kids played on swing and slide. Bliss.

VoodooWithBellsOn · 01/04/2009 18:06

happy birthday mr voodz,
macdog, i know how you feel, my nan seems to tell me all the time "oh, have you put weight on?" "again?" i have the snacking problem at night when dp is at work and the ds's asleep and i get bored, i raid the cuboards looking for things to eat,

my new nintendo ds has been good this week, and has been so addictive i havent been raiding cuboards. plus i still really ache from horse riding so reminding me i need to diet a bit.

we are in the tesco dvd club, it is also ran by the love film,i worked out that we have saved over £85 so far scince joining it last sept. if any one wants a voucher for 12 weeks free dvd rental, tell me and i will send you the voucher they sent me at xmas to give to someone as a gift! i got 2 and have given one to a friend but no one else wanted the other one.

dp is now watching the xfiles movie from the dvd club. they are really quick on the turn around, we must watch about 3 films a week.

off to take ds1 to an easter egg hunt tonight at the cub camp site at herringfleet

Macdog · 02/04/2009 17:49

We just bought 'The Mist' on dvd. Zavvi sent me a discount code, so got it for £1.95, free delivery

OP posts:
Jennster · 02/04/2009 21:30

Oh oH oh oh Worley is it a Lovefilm voucher? Was going to sign dh up as a present for Valentine's day but couldn't bring myself to only get 2 weeks free (yes I'm a cheapskate) when we are paying so much for Sky (which is going to be downgraded just as soon as I find out if More4 with ER will still be included)
