PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:34

franca LOL at 'I pretended to be candy candy (seriously)'

and super PML at hot and fanny on her bike .

I feel I have got little to say today. feel a bit empty inside.

photographer came. absolutely fantastic pics and very nice person. got one session'voucher for dh's birthday. a bit of a at price of prints tbh but hey that's another story.

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:35

Oh basically the Italian way is to feed them enormous bowls of tapioca mixed with brodo vegetale, said pureed vegetables and pureed meat/fish. Two drops of extravergin olive oil and parmesan cheese.

lots of emoticon in that post...

How did I wean... boh. in this order: fruit blends, homemade blends, pots when out or rushed, brodi vegetali con semolina o pasta after came back from italy and shown by a friend, whatever dd1 eats and she likes, whatever.

today was a mega poo day (like everyday) plus a mega vomit day. a piece of pear skin got a bit stuck so she coughed and yuppieee the whole dinner came out a la excorcist! now she's in bed with an empty stomach...hope she won;t wake up for hunger.

I meant to be off the internet in the evening but dh is asleep on the sofa and I'm to lazy/miserable to read. why?

have you seen the threads about rinsing? they are wuite poopular and easy to get sucked in if not british methink.

PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:41

e4xactly franca. is not bad though. I just think is a bit boring everyday so I do amixed diet

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:43

I think I saw the thread you mentioned, but was too scared to open it

Don't feel miserable. I usually take a bath in these circumstances.

I'd love to watch a great movie. Tomorrow I swear I'll watch a dvd (no reasons to hope for a good movie on tv)

PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:44

do you rinse though?

PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:45

have you watched notes on a scandal? I've got it to watch at the weekend with lovefilm.

PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:45

I miss rosa!!!

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:45

che domande

thinking BLW this time, well, I did the usual purees with DS, but he was weaned ealier (how things change in 4 years!!) and he was a good eater anyway, followed a guide-menu/routine etc, this time I'm more inclined towards BLW to save time! didn't do brodi vegetali (and really only starting eating minestrina when I started making it for DS, always hated the stuff when I was little). might have to start with some purees though, I feel so horrible now when I eat with her on the table/lap, she just looks as if saying "what about me?" and this new waking twice for full feeds might be a sign.. I am trying to appreciate DD's babyhood as much as I can, but feel she's growing so fast....

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:47

Yes, where is rosa? Wasn't she mysterious about her busy day? (and nosey of course)

No, I haven't watched notes on a scandal. Have you heard anything about The Reader, with Kate Winslet (again!) and what's his name, the English guy...

OP posts:
SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 21:49

rinsing? as in washing up?

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:50

I've been really missing the dc's babyhood a lot recently.
Oh sunflower they are so sweet when they look at you eating (they resemble dolce remi staring in the bakery window )

that thread is shocking..

anyway, heard the reader being very good. also want to watch the benjamin button one, I love Cate Blanchet.

what BLW? with dd2 I did not follow any book. I'm sure I gave her think to chew/solids a lot earlier than with dd1.
not sure which of the two I've ruined.

PippiCalzelunghe · 05/02/2009 21:52

yes washing up and bath - don't go there sun flower you'll be sucked in - like the bidet one.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 21:54

bably lead weaning, guess then you did a bit of that with DD2

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 21:54

ok, I'm getting all worked up at what there might be in there...

Brangelina · 05/02/2009 21:56

Bath thread? There's a bath thread? I got drawn in on a washing up one in the past, but it was deemed in the end that rinsing was wholly ungreen and it was far better to clog up your guts with Fairy liquid. I'm not going there again.

The Brits are a strange lot, leaving soap suds on dishes (I've never seen this practice anywhere else in the world) and a phobia about people thinking they might be washing their bums.

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:57

No one Pippi.

Gosh yes, shall we clash the thread. Shall we say we rinse our dishes in the bidet?

OP posts:
SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 05/02/2009 21:57

right then, where's the thread?

Brangelina · 05/02/2009 21:58

Maybe it's related, the ingested Fairy liquid ensures that the Klingons don't clin on for long? Could it be a secret scientific theory?

Brangelina · 05/02/2009 21:58

Lol t washing dishes in bidet!

francagoestohollywood · 05/02/2009 21:58

"and a phobia about people thinking they might be washing their bums." LOL
