Helloooo. Sorry, I've been really busy with work, which was a shock to my system, I can tell you! I'm exhausted, I had DD at home all day because of the strike and was getting really quite frustrated with trying to work with constant MUMMEEEEs every 3 minutes. Little mite didn't even nap and piped up with "chi è" during a conference call. Ah well, am going to park her with a friend tomorrow in Milan and hope to find a wi-fi hotspot so I can get some work done.
So it's San Martino on the 11th? That's DP's birthday and I have no idea what to get him. Why are men hard to buy presents for? I'm fed up with buying him clothes and he's taking up too much space in the wardrobe as it is. I've done all the electronic items and books too. Sigh, it's so hard. And if that wasn't bad enough after only a month it's Xmas and I have to start again with the brain racking. Double sigh.
I didn't think anyone really celebrated i morti. Well, not my family anyway. The 1st of Nov is usually greeted with guilty communal moaning about how one should be going to the cemetary but no one ever does. Maybe the non celebrations is a milanese thing. Those biscuits they make here are pretty foul anyway.
Rosa, if you're short of a coat I bought 3 off UK ebay recently, got on a bit of a roll and couldn't stop myself. None of them could be called "practical" though, except perhaps the purple hairy one, which has become a firm fave with DD. Mind you, she hasn't seen the giraffe print one yet. Isn't it lovely having a girl, I can work out all my suppressed fashionista urges.
