Yes, it's great fun, except that it is also a bit fantasioso with its routes, as I once discovered to my cost.

Crikey all these celebs - saw a few when film festival was on Dh took Claudia Shiffer ( sp) in the boat and has numerous others - minor ones . recently he took that blonde with big lips about 40 ish was on a prog about hairdressers .
I want my mums peanut biscuits or some of those american reeses choc things - full of Cr* and I went past the blessed shop that sells peanut butter this morning and I looked in the window and very nearly bought a choc fudge cake packet mix but at Eu6 I left it.
DD2 is BIG guys she is approx 3.3kg already and head is week ahead , leg normal and pancia is 39 weeks ( eeeeeek). BP is ok which I am surprised at as am stressed with MIL ( saga continues)and he said rest and relax ...Yep ok doc no problemo !!!
New Years eve that involves staying up and doing something fun - erm think that was about 4 yrs ago !!

It was Nancy Brilli - the name came to me about 30 mins later !!!!
MIl ( well you asked ) she had x rays and doc said it is healing well - so she decided to see a fisiatra- The Fisiatra said well in a month yes you can do physio but until then as original doc ( all 10 of them have said) you cannot put any weight on it. So she decided she wanted to go home anyway - no badante . So yesterday dh and SIl took her - along with one of dh drivers help carried her up stairs then had to move furniture, take doors off - she lives in a small flat. SIL stayed yest evening and in theory dh will go this pm . SIL rang Dh in massive panic this am saying that MIL did not answer phone Dh replied - I am 45 mins away Che cat*o voi che faccio ?- Mil was fine phone had scaricato!!! I am so angry that she is being so totally selfish. have said that we should place bets on who finishes in hosp first. Me , SIl with crisi nervoso or MIl as she has fallen again - she won't try crutches as she has a fear of falling.So somebody has to go in 2 / 3 times daily with food , do laundry, cleaning etc . I need dh esp in prima serata / serata as am so pyhsically tired- But what do you do ????

Can you not force a badante onto her? It's not really the right time for your DH to be running around after her, he should really be helping you. Poor you and poor your DH.

Glad your little one is growing so heartily, I bet you can't wait for her to arrive. Not too long now!

Oh dear Rosa. It sounds very hard. I do realize that for people of older generations is very difficult to accept any outside help, but it really is the worst timing ever.
Of course you need your dh's help at bedtimes, plus you really need to store up some "riposo" for labour and baby's first days...
Can't your dh do the mornings and sil the evenings (but sil has children hasn't she?). Would a few hrs with a badante really unacceptable?

After writing about those peanut cups am not kidding I have a serious massive craving - as in massive.... tough can't get the things here !!
MIl is refusing a badante even for a few hours she does not want gente straniera in casa . They had one when FIL was ill and she was not really a good one plus FIL was a bit heavy going at that stage. As we said just for maybe 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the pm. We would help with the spesa if thats a problem ( not sure with what) However from Nov 16th she will be in ospedale for 25 giorni for rehab!
SIL has 2 dc as well so mornings are best for both. Bless dh went round and then said sorry gotta go home now as am needed !!
Yes dh has taken a few big stars but not recently at the film festivals as he prefers lots of trips not the dispositions. He is very aloof about them !!!!!

Yes, Venice has been confirmed. I think me and sil will get a train on thurs and dh and bil will join us on friday night. We'll go to see the exhibition on saturday morning. Would friday be a good time to meet up?? It's your call. I'll text you on thurs night.

DH bought me an Ok the other week and I have to confess I had no idea who most of the people are . Mind you the other day the Tv was left on and La Talpa came on and I think I recognised 1 or 2 of them - we then went to isola di famosi just to see again how many we knew . Think we hit 0 ! Thankfully Dh was excatly the same.
God I still want one of those chocolate peanut cup things. Think is knowing that you can't get them!

I recognise more people on Talpa than Isola- even though dh insists on Zelig on Monday so only see it in passing......(have to confess to recognising the ones on Talpa as am GF fan.....eeek....will you chuck me out now?)

BUcharest a GF fan - ( seriously contemplates eliminating Bucharest from the thread !!!!!!!!!!) well there are a couple of X factor fans ( I think that was it ) who are residents here so I guess you can stay !!!!!!! - I watched the first GF and then gave up . Simply as I can't be bothered to stay behind it. ( whispers quietly I do watch Eastenders )
MInd you on sky there seems to be always a la Talpa daily or Isola follow up but not for me- I tend to go to Discovery and the fall asleep !
Pippi what bad day hope the weekend is better..If I am in labour at the end of Nov I will be well annoyed and I will not be able to move !!! Have had a couple of Braxton Hicks well I think its them . Had fresh tagliatelle for lunch and spent the entire pm re living the onion that was in the sugo - I will not learn . DOmani long day as dh has a matrimonio in am - its his mate so he is doing the boat for them then he is going on terra firma for spese etc He has a huge list

LOL- I know- it's my only Italian tv vice....Dh despairs of me.....I only watch it really because I caught the first one in 1924 or whenever it was and have followed it since....

I tend to read a lot of books while dh flicks between tedious political chat things....(which I will never be able to understand)
My friend is giving birth right now as we speak....v exciting....makes me almost want another....almost.....but am way too old...I think......
