I just wanted to say I love Uwila and her straight talking honesty. If you don't like butt out! If you do, join this thread in praise of her.

OP posts:

lol - I don't 'know' her at all.

I've just been told on another thread that I sing in a scottish accent..... even though it was typed!!!! Good GOD am I that broadscots?

Well.... I know I'm quite broad around the arse and chins.

WWB, re;

"What a shame that people really seem to think that they and the people they chat with are somehow more important than the rest of us. It would be nice if some of these posters actually bothered to come away from their cosy little haven and speak to us mere mortals every now and then, they'd realise that MN is actually quite a supportive little community in its own right. "

You are referring to "people" and "they". There was only one from the original post and whoever that was didn't get any responses she had hoped for. There is no "they", "people", or "posters", plural.

I can understand you all being annoyed with the "butt out" bit, but I think because the original poster hasn't been back, it could be assumed they regret it. I do not know who it is by the way.

aaaaaaaaand moving swiftly onwards.....

Anyone else find that chatting on MN all evening gives them a sore coccix? No? Just me then?

WigWamBam · 25/02/2005 21:12

Charleypops, I was speaking about other comments which have been made elsewhere, not just on this thread. I mentioned no names, slagged no-one off, and I'm not interested in getting involved in an argument. I'm not annoyed, I just feel very sad about some of the posts that have been made recently, on the June thread and on the other threads that started up because of it.

RTKangaMummy · 25/02/2005 21:15

I know her from her views on having foreign au pairs working for 10 - 12 hours a day

Well I try really hard to avoid her posts because of my blood pressure

I know I am being childish but

How come TGI has not come back to tell me to butt out

It is the freedom to roam and post

That I am wanting to be agreed to IYSWIM

Toothache · 25/02/2005 21:15

.... aand he took her to silver stream

He whispered words that
She had never heard
And it made her all shudder inside when he said

Wig wam bam
gonna make you...

Okay I'll shurrup now.

JanH · 25/02/2005 21:15

Aha - the original poster has only ever posted here and on mears's thread...

Maybe it is Uknowwho.

MistressMary · 25/02/2005 21:17

WigWamBam · 25/02/2005 21:17

Oi, Toothache, you taking the pee?

Toothache · 25/02/2005 21:18

No thanks Mistressmary... I'm drinking wine tonight.

RTKangaMummy · 25/02/2005 21:18

sorry slow typing again

I think I should butt out before I am kicked out

I was just answering a question BTW

Toothache · 25/02/2005 21:19

WWB - Every time I see you post, that song is just bursting out!! DH thinks I've gone mental (or more mental?).

WigWamBam · 25/02/2005 21:19

If anyone wants to kick you out, KM, they'll have to get rid of me first. Kicking the pair of us out - they'll have their work cut out for them!

RTKangaMummy · 25/02/2005 21:19

RTKangaMummy · 25/02/2005 21:20

WigWamBam · 25/02/2005 21:21

Uwila · 25/02/2005 21:22

Well, just to set the record straight, I was delighted to find out that I have A friend on this site. (altough others have revealed themselves as well: I did warn them it was bed for their reputation).

Thank you TGI (and others, who should probably remain nameless fot their own sake)

Toothache · 25/02/2005 21:23

Tartan socks?
46G???? Suuurrrrrely to GOD that isn't a cup size? And why would you wear tartan socks on them?

I'm a mere 36B. My postnatal tummy protudes out further!

WigWamBam · 25/02/2005 21:24

Yes, 46G. 48K when I was breastfeeding. Impressive, aren't they!

RTKangaMummy · 25/02/2005 21:24

Thanks Toothache

I was answering the query I was just saying how I was aware of XXXXXXX and by the time I had typed it you had moved on

And our "cosy" "safe" group had been "crashed"
