Hi ichef, congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!I am trying to convince DP to start baby making but it's harder than I thought it would be .convince him,I mean!
Still no password or any sign of the two pics from the consultation...Starting to get a bit impatient now!!!I really want to enlarge one of the pic and send a copy to my parents in Italy

My friend keeps telling me I should look into getting my children into child modelling, but i'm really not sure. I don't want to take them and them be rejected because i think that would be very upsetting for them.

I have put some pics on my profile and wondered if anyone would be kind enough to have a little look and tell me if they think their what the agencies might llok for. I won't be offended, they'll always be gorgeous to me

sarahj999 v glad to hear you like them, tbh to date I have only heard amazing things about UA so we have high expectations.

Luce2006 glad I'm not the only one starting to get impatient re photos, thinking maybe I should give them a call?

memoo rejection is the one thing your children will have to learn how to deal with and tbh i don't see that as a bad thing afterall they will have to deal with it in life won't they? it's good for them.

they're all very cute, if you think they'll enjoy modelling then I'd say have a go at it and see what happens?

Got mine too Luce, not sure how pleased I am with their choice of photos of dd, I'm sure there were better ones, but I guess they know best. Hope the phone starts ringing now.

Luce2006 just got my password as well and v happy with the photos, they know how to make it look smart don't they? now let's wait for the phone to ring, fingers crossed we get a lot of lovely castings and jobs from them.

Glad to hear you both got the password!!How many pics are there of your dd and ds? on my ds' page there's only one pic (mind you,they only took 2 at the consultation)
oh well,re castings we'll have to wait until after the 24th cause we're still on holiday!!
But I hope the phone will ring for your kiddies very soon!

Could anyone recommend any agencies ideally in the North West. We live in Liverpool.

i'm back.. took me a while to find new thread deb..
well i decided on putting dd back with sw, pictures were so cute i had too, she had just started walking so she was really showing off to camera and all smiles!
Lets hope the clients think she is as cute as i think!
Still nothing from bk with other dd but new pics will be on soon and they are very nice!

Rubystar77. I still haven't decided who to put my kids with but SW is one that said they would like all 3 to go for an assessment. Do they alway's accept everyone? Just seems too good to be true that a few agencies are saying yes to all 3!!

My DS1 is currently on his video shoot for a corporate training video and I haven't stopped worrying about whether he is behaving or not and wondering how he is getting on! GOD...It's just soo traumatic not being there to know these things!! lol

Melody: they don't accept everyone. I remember going to the assessment when ds was 10 weeks old and then getting offered a place. At the time I decided not to go with them for various reason. I then applied again in May (when I applied to UA,MOT,R,KL,KK) and last week (they took their time!!)got a rejection!
Re yout ds, I am sure he's having the time of his life but i can understand you being worried

Does anyone have DD's aged 8 or 9. My DD is just 9 but work this year dead compared to last year. I am told it is due to age. With Manchester agency. Have applied to UA north and been shortlisted but can't do anything as not deciding on who they are taking on until end of August. Anybody on here from the North.

Rubystar- did your DD get any work in her first year with SW? Did they approach you to sign up again?

Our contract was up in June and we have been taken off the website (along with most of the other children who seemed to have started the same time as my DS) and that's it! No letter or contact from SW. . We had 3 castings but no jobs...

I've just applied to KL but doubt anything will come of that. If its a no from them I think we'll go into hibernation until DS is nearly 3! He is 2 in Sept.

PS Lyndall- apologies. Keep meaning to reply but have been sooooo busy - aniother quiz show! lol!

melody daisy- i took both daughters to assessment and they only wanted youngest who they had accepted , on shoot they took some picks of dd1 but she played up a bit although he got nice shots they didn't think she was ready and wouldn't offer her a place! i think they could see i was willing to put her in and pay. dd2 was 3 months when they took her on, shes now 18 months.its good they wanna see all 3! expensive tho for 3 so would be good if you was accepted by top 4!
wigglesmum- had 2 calls for fittings, 1 cancelled, 1 i couldn't make! no castings and no jobs. got a letter asking us to re new with them?
maybe yours got lost in post? i've stayed with them as know they are a good agency , neice and nephew was with them and had lots of work.
sw said i must keep up to date with pictures , height and measurements in order for a client to pick her.. fingers crossed!

hi wigglesmum.. have u spoken with SW to ask if they will be renewing your contract? they are very approachable and its possible its been mislaid etc..

Glad you have applied to KL - good luck and let me know the outcome. If I were you I would call SW if you decide you want to stay with them to find out where you stand. xx

bk lots of tv/film work but lots of kids on their books.
AK lots of tv,they get lots of work and expect you to be very commited(dont like you turning stuff down)KK very new,seem nice but havent seen them at any castings/jobs. ES very high end work,high start up costs but very established,lot of kids on the books. BG used to be fab but not sure now.Others on here have experience of the other agencies so can probably help.
I would say wait for KL and MOT to respond as they very gd agents with no fees.
