Ciao , Hello , Welcome .

OP posts:
francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 14:55

Yes, I paid the ICI because I don't live in my flat. I have the residenza in the flat we are renting. Therefore, it's a seconda casa.

That golino woman has had the best males in circolazione, bugger. She was with Bentivoglio for ages. Scamarcio is good looking I find. As an actor I have my doubts. A few months ago I watched "3 metri sopra il cielo" (I actually feel ashamed to confess I watched it) on Italia 1. Possibly the sillieest movie I've ever seen. But he was bellissimo, so I kept watching despite the movie being ugly.

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 14:58

Yes, I watched it too a couple of years ago. It was a crap film but something compelled me to carry on watching it.

I never paid ICI when renting. Do you own a prima casa? I thought ICI only pertained to ownership. Am now totally confused.

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 15:02

Scmarcio's looks was what compelled you to watch the ugly movie, imo.

Omg, I'm starting to think that my mother (the family's tax expert got it wrong). Of course you don't pay ici when you rent. I own the flat, but don't have the residenza there, therefore I must pay.

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 15:07

Ah right, that explains it. Still doesn't explain why you paid it if it's been abolished. You've got me worried, I'm going to have to dash back to the comune on Monday morning to put my mind at rest.

Yes, it was Scamarcio that compelled me to watch it, even though his part was terribly scontato. I must stop thinking about him, am getting all hot and bothered and it's made my contact lens steam up.

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 15:13

pmsl!

I think you are right. Maybe i shouldn't have paid it. I just own one flat. Or maybe it becomes "a seconda casa" just because I don't have thre residenza there.

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 15:20

Yes, it's a seconda casa because you are non-resident, and si paga ICI per la seconda casa ma non la prima. It's all clear now, I was getting my knickers in a twist over nothing.

Phew!

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 16:26

You were getting your knickers in a twist because of that Scamarcio fellow

Remember me being smug about my catarro free children a few posts ago? They have both started coughing like smokers with a 40 a day habit .....

Rosa · 13/06/2008 18:55

paitent - Brange its doing my head in. Have put foot down and said we are buying dd bedroom regardless and it will just have to fit in new place ( if we ever get one). Am looking and calling and seeing but just can't find'it'.
Pippi what a pain re your floor and builders and having to relocate - do not give into the fags !!!
I have some bacteria hanging round that should not be there hence another test- blood is fine so will go domani.
DD just has a block re poo- She will pee fine AT HOME and tell you in time etc no accidents for ages. OUt forget it we can try every tombino in the strada and niente and 2 minutes later it is running down her leg.
Cacca is a nightmare - 3 days of home made minestrone, and had 2 rabbit droppings that stuck to her bum so total panic screams / tears. Have bought prunes and now need to disguise as strawberries in her breakfast . Will try the succo as she likes the mirtilli one so can only give it a go. BUt she jumps round clings to you but won't do a poo. Big vasetto or baby one . It is driving us nuts!! Have the clismi things but don't want to make pooing into to more of a trauma that it is!!! Happy Weekend all- DH working so its a fun one for me !!!

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 20:34

ah, I see! So the poo problem is related to potty training, you think? We had this with both dd and ds.
Dd hated (was scared) of pooing in the toilet (wouldn't poo in the potty either), so she hold on to it for days. It went on for quite a while. I have to say though, I can't remember much of the timing etc. But I'm pretty sure she would poo as less frequently as possible. She might have cried as well, as poo became dura and hurt. (at this stage she wouldn't have the microclisma, too old, too scared, so I agree I wouldn't try).

ds was another story . Despite being great with pipi (didn't need nappy at night time) he insisted on wearing a nappy everytime he needed a poo. It went on for months

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 20:40

Lol! Yes it was all Scamarcio's fault, I couldn't think straight because of him. All my thought processes were interrupted by a vision of him with no knickers on.

Rosa, just blend the prunes with a little water and stir them into porridge. Dried apricots work the same, just leave them in warm water overnight and blend. Alternatively you could always give your DD the fags Franca's been giving hers. Remember lots and lots of water too.

My sis had the same problem with her DD and it resolved itself over time, although it did seem to take ages. Mine never had an issue with poo as she and DP would always vie with each other as to who did the biggest (yes, DD's inherited DP's poo fixation), although she was the same as your wrt to wee out of the home. I even bought a collapsible potty but did she ever use it? Did she heck! It does get better, now she'll happily wee anywhere and especially loves trees.

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 20:49

cosi'? .

No, I didn't give mine fags. Fags are for me, for very rare special occasions...

I think I gave dd fig's syrup for a while.

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 20:56

I also need to confess that when pg with dd (2001-2002, we were living in milan) I was addicted to the serie "compagni di scuola" and he was young (and fit)

PippiCalzelunghe · 13/06/2008 21:16

Why, why are you always chatting when I'm not around?

I can see this scamarcio, who I never saw before, is in romanzo criminal, is it a good movie? a friend gave it to me ages ago and never got around to watch it.

my dd and my dh are the same as you dd and your dp barnge, how here as well!

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:21

You are cruel, I was just about to make some bread (driven by the total lack of food in my house, not by any domestic goddessism), and now I'm going to have to while away more time flicking through those picks .

[Un]fortunately I wasn't aware of Compagni di Scuola in 2001, at the time I was still somewhat a party animal, so missed out on a lot of these series. It was probably a good thing....

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:23

Don't know about Romanzo criminale, I'm not even sure what it's about. Does scamarcio take his clothes off in it? No? Then I'm not interested.

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:25

Interesting how this poo fetishism seems to be a dominant gene. I was just thinking the other day about DD's first properly constructed phrase and am sad to say it was in all likelihood "Mummy, Daddy ha fatto una scorreggia".

PippiCalzelunghe · 13/06/2008 21:25

maybe he does. will def check it out now !

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 21:30

scamarcio galore

Romanzo criminale is supposed to be good (I swear I used to go to the cinema AT LEAST once a week... it all changed with the children... I managed to keep up a bit doing the tesco dvd rental thing before moving back to milan . I managed to go ONCE in the 6 months we've been here). And Kim Rossi Stuart is in it. Non e' da buttar via nemmeno lui

oh come on forget about the bread, lets chat. dh is watching the bloody football

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:41

Bloody football going on here too. I've been called to admire the goals. Oddly enough a Dutch colleague of mine is on holiday till the week after next, methinks he's in CH...

I used to like Kim rossi Stuart too, though not that much. Is he Scottish or something?

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:45

We used to watch a lot of DVDs too, we had an abbonamento with a videoteca in Porta Genova. Now we're in Monza there are only 2 videoteche, one is Blockbuster, who we both owe money to from Milan so won't ever go back there and the other is this posto sfigato fuori mano that has lots of tacky US comedies and only 1 copy of decent films.

anneme · 13/06/2008 21:47

Hello Italian MNers - as a matter of interest are any of you near Parma?

PippiCalzelunghe · 13/06/2008 21:49

better football than police chases like in the pippi's household methink .

will watch it then. only remember kim rossi stuart from ages ago and did look quite ... flimsy ifkwim. maybe he's matured a bit.

i'd love to chat but I am falling asleep...cannot believe that dd2 is only 10 weeks... it feels we had her for ages [loved up emoticon].

Brangelina · 13/06/2008 21:53

Already 10 wks! It's scary how time passes so quickly. I am quite of you having 2 gorgeous DDs

Anneme - no not anywhere near Parma (well, about 2 hrs on the train), but I do know a displaced Parmense if you need any help.

PippiCalzelunghe · 13/06/2008 21:57

anneme no not me.

I used to go to the movies once a week too, on my own, which was bliss. I must have been twice since the dds have been born. sad. will go to watch persepolis on wednesday. they do scamarcio's on sunday at the prince charles in the west end but cannot think how dh and i could go. we are already going out tomorrow night. times like this I wish I was near family.
I hate blockbuster, they only have new releases and nothing much. I long for these italian video chops where they've got absolutely everything, or they don't exhist anymore. talking of video shops I must tell you I must have spent millions in my youth in one. I was in love with the guy who worked there who to me was the exact copy of matt dillon (this was just before the real thing). I was there everyday !

francagoestohollywood · 13/06/2008 21:58

Anneme, no I'm in Milan, don't know anyone in Parma I'm afraid... can we help anyway?

Pippi, 10 weeks! (today I saw a newborn, it brought tears to my eyes, I so want a newborn )

Brange I think kim rossi etc dad is italian and mum scottish? I like him.
