All Saturday in bed

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 22/09/2008 15:18

The papers, the tv, snoozing. Bliss.
I'll also reserve judgement on Arthur vs Merlin. After all, it took me at least 3 episodes to start fancying the [leather] pants off Sir Guy.

oggsfrog · 22/09/2008 16:03

Ooh, sounds like something I'd enjoy. Bum.
Was it the first one on Sat? I might be able to get my Mum to video it for me.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 22/09/2008 20:12

Yes Oggs. Don't get too excited, but it is good Saturday night fodder.
Phew! I forgot to mention, I got a 'new' bike at the weekend and I'm now pedalling around the place like a thing posessed which is fab - it makes a girl remember why she wanted to move to Cornwall. So, following my post-work pedal, I've just done one of my workout dvds (Darcey does Pilates, since you ask), and I'm now feeling suitably weary and pleased with myself. oh, and I've started slimfast. Three stone to go....

Berrie · 23/09/2008 09:12

Oh don't you start Zeb...none of my teacher clothes fit me any longer I've found.

oggsfrog · 23/09/2008 10:43

Very impressive start Zeb .

I haven't been to my Cambridge Counsellor for weeks now . I have a weeks worth of sachets which I have put a high shelf and have just eaten a bag of roast beef and mustard crisps.
I've got a pizza in the oven too

oggsfrog · 23/09/2008 10:50

I must have drunk gazillions of calories worth of alcohol over the extended weekend.

There was this fella who through my beer sodden goggles was the spit of David Tennant even down to the accent. I stared at him in a pathetic besotted way for a whole evening and to my shame I actually went up to him and told him how gorgeous he was and how much he looked like Dr Who .
I did tell him I was not coming on to him but just making an observation , but still, .

Of course when I saw him the next day (from a distance obviously ) he looked nothing like DT

Berrie · 23/09/2008 11:12

How much more supportive you were to Zeb Oggs. I am obviously a deeply cynical and mean minded friend

Tee hee, I am still grinning at your David Tennant notlookalike antics. You shameless hussy you!

oggsfrog · 23/09/2008 11:30

What? Me? I am totally supportive of you Berrie

Berrie · 23/09/2008 12:27

No no no...I meant I feel ashamed that I moaned at Zeb for starting a diet whilst you congratulated her, me therefore being less supportive to her than you were...good joke though

Woohoo biscuits

I just had to nip up to school as ds had dropped all his sandwiches on the floor. It was really odd seeing him at the table with all his little friends. His hair is way too long and needs a chop..that's all I could think!

Cjunky kitkat yesterday gave me indegestion aaalll day

oggsfrog · 23/09/2008 12:57

Aw . He does suit his hair longer though, as opposed to it just looking a mess.

I completely forgot to give dd her packed lunch one day - she was in floods of tears when she sat down to eat and found an empty bag .
It's so far for me to go that they cobbled together a lunch for her at school .

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 23/09/2008 14:44

I've just eaten a huge bacon & brie bagette and it's now sitting on my stomach like you would not believe. However, with my virtuous hat on I guess I did do all that exercise last night and am now stiffening up.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 23/09/2008 16:04

Hah! You shall not defeat me with your chocolate digestive. I've been fighting custard creams all day!

Berrie · 24/09/2008 10:59

Now now now! We'll have no food fights here!

oggsfrog · 24/09/2008 11:39

Bacon butties in the bath

Berrie · 24/09/2008 11:44

I know
Not something I usually do!

oggsfrog · 24/09/2008 19:21

Oh bum!

Bloody car has finally given up the ghost. The gear box exploded on the way to dd's riding lesson and dh had to borrow a car to tow me home.
His truck is off the road at the moment so we are officially without transport. Gah!

I was going to go shopping today but put it off until tomorrow and now I can't go. Double gah!

Berrie · 24/09/2008 19:32

Oh no! How will you get dd to school?

oggsfrog · 24/09/2008 20:00

No idea. It's certainly not walkable .

We're none of us feeling tip top though and a few our our friends were ill with a bug so in a way I'm hoping she doesn't feel well enough for school as at least that would solve one problem .

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 25/09/2008 09:22

Hey Oggs, have you sorted out the car, or are you all stuck at home being poorly? Poor you.

oggsfrog · 25/09/2008 11:44

Caravan full of sniffles, snuffles and coughs so no school.

Dh has just gone off to our neighbours to see if he can borrow a car so we can go and look at one with a view to buying.
It's a whole day thing though as it will take about 1.5 hrs to get to where the car is and if it's crap that's another day gone .
Much as I love living here the amount of time we spend driving around is enormous (and costly).

How's the slimfasting going Zeb? Clocked up many more cycling hours?

I've eaten 3 Findus Pancakes for breakfast I saw some the other day for the first time in years and bought some for gluttony's nostalgia's sake
