I joined Facebook ages ago, but never got any further and never actually understood what it did.
I've been trying to have a look this morning and it seems that it tells you when your friends are online so I presume you use it to have real-time chats?
Isn't that what MSN Live is for?
Also, how do you actually find people on it? I put in a name and it brings up hundreds of people with that name, most of whom have no pictures so how dod you know who is who? Seems daft to me

Is it the same place/consultant you'll be going back to? Is there no improvement at all? Has your Dr any idea what is causing it?

Same clinic...I'm waiting for her to ring and tell me whether they'll see me straight away or whether I'll go on the 2 week waiting list again.
My breast is mainly just discoloured and I can feel a hard duct or vein or something. The Doctor didn't really know.
She was a bit shirty on the phone to them so that's going to be nice isn't it?

Facebook's a bit weird to work out, but once you have it's addictive. You search by people's names, then you kind of have to figure out who people are through their friends and stuff.
I'm mainly doing it for work-related networking, and to winkle out old friends, rather than mucking around with photos and all that garbage. TBH, that stuff is far to dangerous - letting people in on all the personal info. No way!
But Lyra wants to be my friend.

She promised me she'd ring today. I missed a private call at 3.01 when I went to get ds from school. Maybe that was her. I so badly do not want to go back there and sit for 2 hours amongst a group of begowned women who are all waiting to find out if they are in danger of dying or not, then reading their expressions when they come out, good and bad. Horrible.I know I should be grateful and I am but I still don't want to go back

I'm ok...not quite thinking straight to be honest...missed a friend's birthday today which I feel bad about. I have the card and the letter ready to go but forgot. I have loads of e-mails and texts to reply to but no motivation. Had a snooze on sofa with dd but she kept telling me she needed me to stop snoring which wasn't very relaxing.

The letter didn't come today...maybe they'll give me a longer wait appointment since they have already said I'm ok. The Gp thought they'd get me in straight away, obviously not. How much is private healthcare It's quite disconcerting having a manky purple/red appendage.

Oh yes and I'm driving around with the petrol light on...

Traumatic morning. The au pair broke my car this morning, which, as I'm heading off for the weekend tomorrow, would have been just a tad troublesome. So I've been calling all sorts of retribution down on her head. Not least of which is condemning her to drive the series 2 land rover (no power steering or suspension and a max speed of 15mph) for the rest of her natural. I was also hovering between death, deportation and incarceration without trial for 28 days.
Fortunately, it's now sorted. But I still want to kill her.

We've exchanged on our new house!!!!!

I feel like I've been holding my breath for months and finally I can breath out. It's ours!!! We won't know what to do with all the space!
I'm drinking a glass of champagne (well, Cava) to celebrate. I'm sure it will be followed by several more...
