No nudity
Not nearly enough DT but quite a nice one of him with Yorrick where he's not gurning.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 14/09/2008 09:59

But at least he tries to shag his mum So a gratuitous, if dubious sex scene? And can I get a programme too?! I still haven't got the poster actually.
And I love your house Lyra. I'm staying with friends so we all took a look and agreed it had loads of potential and basically re-designed it for you. And if it's overlooking Richmond Park, that's pretty darned good too.
And I'm afraid £1400 is a bit outside my bracket. Sorry. I'll give you a shout if I start earning loadsamoney though. Having decided DH isn't coughing up, I need to go in search of earning it myself as I don't like being poor.

Berrie · 14/09/2008 20:17

So...turn away now if you are sick and tired of the manky bosom.

My nipple has lost it's colour on about a quarter of it. It looks yellow.
I think I am going to die.
My appointment at the breast unit is not until next week, as in not this week coming. Shall I prostrate myself across their step tomorrow morning, ring the gp, go and see a gp who may not be the one who knows the case?
I've got first lessons tomorrow, a physio appointment, my friend from Uganda coming Tuesday, more first lessons Wednesday...ds says he never wants to go to school again...and I think I'm going to die...sorry, just had to spill...

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 14/09/2008 20:48

Big hugs Berrie.
If you are worried, you should definitely se the doc, even if it's only to set your mind at rest. It sounds like you've got a hellish week coming up though.

LyraSilvertongue · 14/09/2008 22:04

Ring the doc Berrie. They shouldn't be making you wait like this.
Zeb, so what ideas did you come up with? I've already planned my new kitchen (Ikea has a fab 3D kitchen planner).
When there's more money in the pot we're going to extend to the side where the garage is and maybe into the loft too.
Our current house is looking great at the moment. We've just wasted spent a productive weekend repainting and cleaning from top to bottom. I'm cream crackered.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 14/09/2008 22:30

Oh crikey, we had been drinking... Well. We decided we were going to extend above the garage to give extra bedroom space. Knock across one of the bedrooms and make it en suite as the 3rd room could be useful extra space and extend into the garage downstairs to create and enormous kitchen. Err, can't remember the rest, but it probably involved extending back into the garden. I'll look again tomorrow if you want me to.

LyraSilvertongue · 14/09/2008 22:35

No, no. That all sounds good. Hope you didn't get too drunk

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 15/09/2008 08:12

We were very well behaved thank you very much. Glad to be home though, even if it is raining. I'm also glad I'm no longer working for a big City investment bank!

oggsfrog · 15/09/2008 08:25

Oh shit Berrie . Have to take dd to school but will be around later.

Berrie · 15/09/2008 19:54

Note to self...do not come onto thread whilst drunk!

Appointment at breast clinic brought forward to Wednesday afternoon so hopefully another all clear by then.

oggsfrog · 15/09/2008 19:57

So how did today go Berrie? Hope you are feeling a little better.

When do you think you'll be moving Lyra?

Zeb, has anyone you know been directly affected by today's developments?

I've been in touch with Binkle ... she sent me a book she promised me ages ago and I emailed to thank her.
She's busy with work and says hello.

oggsfrog · 15/09/2008 19:59

X posts .
It's godd hat you've had your appt moved forward.

LyraSilvertongue · 15/09/2008 20:01

We move in mid-October. Got to find a tenant fast.
I've got a stinking cold and am using white wine (unwisely) to anaestetise.

oggsfrog · 15/09/2008 20:05

I too have a cold, but unfortunately no wine . I bet you can't wait.

LyraSilvertongue · 15/09/2008 20:29

Can't wait but now worried about finding a tenant.
I hate colds.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 15/09/2008 20:55

I had a cold last week. I used wine too

Fortunately, I don't know anyone whose at Lehmans now, although there was a poor woman on mnet earlier whose DH is/was. You just feel so sorry for them.

20% of DH's clients are at Lehmans or Merrils, but he says he should be ok for the time being, but one friend I met at the weekend has far too many shares in them (he's a fund manager, sort of). So I shouldn't think he had a great day. It's not looking good right now.

Berrie · 16/09/2008 15:48

Humph!

My lovely friend who went to live in Uganda came today and was telling all about being in the hospitality tent at ALW's something in the park the other day with Lee, DVO, Joss Stone and many other people that she didn't know who they were because she lives in Uganda. She went with a friend whose do it was...not ALW. She said Lee looked about 14.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 16/09/2008 18:10

14! ROFL. Did MFL'sF ever spill on DVO?

oggsfrog · 16/09/2008 19:49

Aw bless .
Berrie you have very grand friends . Did you have a nice day then?

oggsfrog · 16/09/2008 19:53

Apparently it was to celebrate his 60th birthday..."Andrew Lloyd Webber's Birthday In The Park - watched by thousands of fans - will broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on October 10".

Berrie · 17/09/2008 10:44

Tee Hee, my Uganda friend is not grand she just happens to have a posh friend who moves in the media in London. In fact she's about as grand as you Oggs what with having to pump the collected rain water for a shower.

I had a very nice day and yet it was really wierd. It was like she hadn't been away for 2 years and we were having lunch with the kids as normal. We spent the whole day sort of catching up and not talking about the real stuff if you know what I mean. She has adopted a Ugandan baby. He is two but small for his age. He is such a little poppet.

MFL'sF only mentioned the gossip about Lee and DVO's 'first time.' I'm sure I e-mailed that out. Nowt interesting.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 17/09/2008 11:29

Oh yes, I remember that one
So is your friend happy to be back, or is she off again to play with her buckets of water?

Berrie · 17/09/2008 12:27

Oh happy to be here but they have to go back for a year or two at least if not longer.
She is enjoying her baths, seeing friends, eating stuff other than beans and being allowed to wear skirts and drink alcohol.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 17/09/2008 15:11

No baths and no alocohol? Hmm, you wouldn't get me rushing back there in a hurry!

Berrie · 17/09/2008 17:37

And then there are the deadly snakes and spiders that she has to kill before they kill her...

Breast clear and proper diagnosis this time. Thrombolitis of a superficial vein.
