Oh yes please!
DH still has his down times and it's nearly a year since his Mum died now. It's a big shock and you do all the funeral stuff and then when everthing is done there is nothing left but to go through it.

I've emailed you.

Berrie · 02/02/2008 12:07

Lyra it's really really lovely but where is all the clutter? How do ou live so elegantly?
Tee Hee, it's great having a good old nosey!
(Berrie goes to check lunch suffering property envy)

The clutter is behind the camera. i had to stash stuff in corners out of the lense's range and move it from room to room. It is a lovely house but just too small.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 12:21

Or rather, it's lovely when it's tidy, which is rarely. Only when cameramen/prospective buyers are coming round.

Berrie · 02/02/2008 12:49

Hope it doesn't take too long or you will be busy!

oggsfrog · 02/02/2008 15:41

Email me too please. It's always nice to see how the other half live - those of you with all mod cons like flushing toilets, running water and stairs .

I'm still not back to normal. Very tired. I got about 4 hours sleep on Wed night, what with my room service burger in the wee hours .

Poor Lyra, working until 10:30pm. That's a long shift.

Berrie thanks for the photos by the way they are lovely. Did you take them yourself? What about the snail one ?

LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 16:23

I've emailed you Oggs.

Berrie · 02/02/2008 16:55

Lyra...you've been there HOURS!

OP posts:
Berrie · 02/02/2008 16:56

Oggs...snail?

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 17:04

Yes. Only five and a half more to go...

Berrie · 02/02/2008 17:11

Yikes...does it make a difference if something exciting happens?

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 17:18

Yes, I'll have to stay longer

Berrie · 02/02/2008 17:21

Tee Hee...would like to stay and keep you company but off out to family in law.
See you later!

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 17:22

That's it, you go off and have a nice time, don't worry about me.

binkleandflip · 02/02/2008 18:48

Oh dear I am an absolute liability arent I??? Sorry about that Lyra and quite right to delete!!

I dont know whether to be pleased that online me and real me are the same - I suppose it means I am either genuine and open or totally dull and predictable!!

I went out last night for a nice meal and was planning a nice quiet night in tonight (and I know what you are going to say...!!) but I've been invited to a ball now by a friend whose husband cant make it so I am trying my hardest to get my zip up on my one fancy dress but it's a bit of a struggle!

Am looking forward to the night though, feel a bit like Cinderella (look like Grizelda or whatever they are called but thats a different matter!!)

binkleandflip · 02/02/2008 18:50

Oh and it was fab meeting you all - completely surpassed all my expectations - it was much more relaxed and flow-y and easy than I could have hoped (of course wine always helps )

LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 18:54

Have a great time Binkle!

Zebedeedoodah · 02/02/2008 19:08

Evening all! Yes, I'm still alive...just, and many many apologies for not coming back sooner to say what a brilliant time I had on Wednesday, and what a brilliant bunch you all are.

Anyway, I'll read through all the posts when I have a bit more time, but basically I am TOTALLY knackered as it's all caught up with me, and DS has kindly gone down with chickenpox (so be warned) , so I was up with him all last night, and likely to be the same tonight, so I'm, ahem, about to do a Berrie and go to bed.

And I think we should do it again sometime, when we can agree what we'll do or what the next show is we should see.
Night night.

oggsfrog · 02/02/2008 19:11

Wow Lyra!

Absolutely gorgeous. It looks fantastic. It may be small, but your decor makes it look bright and spacious. I'm sure it'll be snapped up.
Any pics of the one you're going for?

Berrie, the snail one is the shell one. I think of it as the snail shell one, but they are actually sea shells aren't they?
Hope you have a nice evening.

Binkle, Binkle, Binkle...

Hard choice... stay at home and tackle the ironing mountain or go to the ball Have a lovely evening. I'm sure you look fabulous.

oggsfrog · 02/02/2008 19:12

Hello Zeb. Bye Zeb
Hope ds doesn't feel too poorly.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/02/2008 19:13

Thanks oggs,I'll email you the one we want to buy 9and cross my fingers that I'm not jinxing it).
Welcome back Zeb, been there with the chicken pox. it's not pleasant. Antihistamine syrup can help with the itching (I wish I'd known this before DS1 scratched himself raw ).

oggsfrog · 02/02/2008 19:32

Double wow! I hope you get it.

Got to go and herd dd into bed. A cattle prod would be useful...

Berrie · 02/02/2008 20:49

I'm back!

OP posts:
Berrie · 02/02/2008 20:55

Lyra, ahem, I want an e-mail of new property too please! Not too long to go now!

Binkle...hope you are having a great time, must be hard for you though since you are not accustomed to going out this much! Re. what it means, it means that you are just as bubbly and friendly and good fun in real life as you are online...whereas, it would appear, some of us are more shy in real life.

Zeb. I hope you are snoring well. Poor Ds, hope he doesn't itch too much.

Oggs, what are you drinking?
