Zebedeedoodah · 07/03/2008 15:16

Letching over fit young men Binkle? Surely not.

Actually, it's quite good as an incentive as she has a very well toned body which you would aspire to, as opposed to looking ludicrous a la Madonna. (But my flab looking in the mirror whilst doing sit ups was soooooo awful, that's pretty good incentive too. )

Berrie · 07/03/2008 15:25

Sit ups? I can't even do a sit up!

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 07/03/2008 15:59

Well, when I say sit ups I actually mean a measly 3!

LyraSilvertongue · 07/03/2008 19:46

Berrie, we're still waiting for you juicy gossip.

Berrie · 07/03/2008 20:18

Yes sorry...busy night had lessons earlier! Off to look for e-mail addresses now...

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 07/03/2008 20:46

Berrie, how cheesy.
I can just picture her saying that.

Berrie · 07/03/2008 20:55

It's embarrassing isn't it!

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 08/03/2008 12:44

Huh? Huh?

Berrie · 08/03/2008 15:50

No Oggs, I didn't forget...you hadn't been around yesterday and I thought you wouldn't know what I was on about if I just sent you the e-mail out of the blue...I'll do it now

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 09/03/2008 19:45

It's eerily quiet around here...

Berrie · 10/03/2008 07:44

Moooooorninnnng!

Grooooaaaaann...

Wish there was a weigh in today
I've got the tummy bug and since I've eaten little and ...ahem...expelled loads...my weight has got to be better than it was. It's not worth feeling rubbish for though

Tell me women of the world...does a dry, recurrent sniff indicate a cocaine habit lke it does on the tele?

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 10/03/2008 08:45

Morning Sorry you're feeling poo (see what I did there? ). Are Mr Berrie and the Mini Berries suffering too?

Dunno about 'Woman of the World'... more like a 'Woman of the Wild'. . My only experience of cocaine is from watching Holby City. Robert Powell's character kept sniffing, but also had nosebleeds. Sorry, no idea. Worried about somebody you know?

I'm dreading the weigh in tomorrow. 'Nuff said.

Zeb, how's it been down there in the winds? Are you sans power?

Berrie · 10/03/2008 09:16

Mr Berrie has been incredibly poorly over the weekend as he took some imodium which made him blow up like a balloon in agony. DD had it last week but is all better now.

This person is the partner of a not close friend. I'm just curious not worried. I find sniffing very irritating.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 10/03/2008 09:47

Sorry, I've absolutely no experience of coke habits - possibly because I'm so naive I wouldn't notice if someone did have.
I hope the Berrie Bug is on the wane now though.

The weather's bloomin awful here. It's not often you get your travel news from John Humphreys is it? But everything's intact, despite living on top of a hill, which is still better than living at the bottom and getting flooded out. We did run out of heating oil yesterday though. Oops.

And I loved your cheesy gossip. Even if it's not true it sounds like it could be.

Berrie · 10/03/2008 10:49

I've only met him 3 times. The first time he came for dinner at our house and sniffed all night. The next time was at a wedding and he was very good company and didn't sniff (though to be fair it would have been less noticable at a wedding) and this weekend again at someone's for dinner, he sniffed all night and was more subdued than I remembered ...Sherlock Berrie has obviously been watching too much Holby City too

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/03/2008 10:51

The weather is beautiful here.

binkleandflip · 10/03/2008 11:49

Morning all!!

My legs are literally broken. Did lots of kick boxing at the gym on Saturday - all day yesterday fine - today - OH. MY. GOD! I am literally staggering around as they wont move normally and I had to heave myself up into dh's car as it is high and my legs are short but they would not bend

Berrie · 10/03/2008 11:52

Oh dear...that'll teach you!

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 10/03/2008 11:58

Maybe your DH should get a smaller car to be less of a strain on your poor ickle leggies? With a big enough boot for the zimmer frame

Watched the Prestige over the weekend with the beautiful Hugh. Whew, what a DARK movie! (and only 1 shirt off moment )

binkleandflip · 10/03/2008 13:53

Oh I likes the Prestige that is where he is playing two parts isnt it?

I have tripped over my friends baby's buggy wheel twice today - my legs will just not respond! I am at my dancing class tonight so that should be amusing.

Am ready for weigh-in tomorrow -have been a fairly virtuous girl this week

LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2008 14:16

Sorry, no experience of coke habits here either.
Although you have reminded me about an incident when I was pg with DS1. There's this woman in the office, who's fat, miserable and a professional victim. Really unpleasant. I was sitting opposite her one day and had a bit of an allergy sniffly thing and didn't realise I was sniffing. As soon as I was out of the office, miserable woman starts telling people she thinks I'm a cocaine addict because i keep sniffing! I was 6 months pg with DS1
I made a complaint about her and was really upset. She didn't speak to me for years after that. The witch!
Did anyone watch Crash last night on Channel 4? It was a bit bleak and depressing to say the least.
Bloody weather's brightening up now after I had to pick up DS2 from nursery, get him into and out of Sainsburys and load and unload the car in torrential rain. Bloody typical.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2008 14:18

Not that i take cocaine when I'm not pg Never tried the stuff and I think I'm way too old to start now.

binkleandflip · 10/03/2008 14:20

didnt watch it but I have seen it before. There was a big hoohah when it won the oscars saying that it should have been Brokeback Mountain that year but it didnt win because of the subject matter etc. I though Crash was pretty contrived - one of those 4-stories-meet-in-one jobbies isnt it, like Magnolia. Thought Sandra Bullock was good in it though and Matt Dillon was quite good too.
