Over here! (Berrie waves)

I'm now 14 hours into my marathon shift (15 if you include travelling time). I'm half dead. I need wine. And sleep. And fags. Boo hoo.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/02/2008 22:32

Finally i can go home. 15.5 hours later.

Zebedeedoodah · 24/02/2008 09:00

Hi Lyra - I am so sorry about your news. Here's a big big hug for you.

But at least Berrie's cheered us all up no end. I just think that's soooo hysterical. Ha! We're famous! I hope your friend told him we are all actually sane, mature women and not the stalker type at all.

But please could someone photoshop that picture before it sees the light of day as I look bl**dy awful.

Berrie · 24/02/2008 09:25

Fear not. I think it highly unlikly that MFLF will have remembered the name of the website or indeed passed that on to Lee. As for the photo. We are the only holders of it.
I was hugely busy yesterday when I posted on here and didn't want to rush the phonecall but wallow in every detail. I did ring him last night but he wasn't around so I will try again this morning.

Wallow all you like! Just don't forget to pass on all the juicies.

And for those of you suffering Joseph withdrawals, I have to recommend watching the dvd of Oklahoma (yes the Hugh one!). I watched it last night and it's bl**dy brilliant. I think there's a big puddle on the sofa from all my drooling. Looks like Hugh could take over from Lee in the gorgeous dark curly haired stakes if Lee's not careful, he even gets his shirt off in it. Oh, and he's a few months older than me, so phew! at last I can move on from the cradle snatching.

oggsfrog · 24/02/2008 13:32

Zeb, what is the dvd? Is it a stage show filmed to dvd or a film? There seem to be different versions available, or maybe I'm just being thick (wouldn't be the first time )

Ohhhh Berrriiieeeeeeeeee, any phone calls been made yet???

Berrie · 24/02/2008 13:37

Sorry not yet...knee deep in planning.

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 24/02/2008 13:40

Planning for tutees or extension?

Zebedeedoodah · 24/02/2008 14:36

Or planning how best to capitalise on YFLF's divulging of information, Berrie?

Oggs, it's the 1999 version of the National Theatre stage production by Trevor Nunn with Maureen Lipman, which was actually filmed properly as opposed to just pointing a camera at the stage. I hope that helps. The only other version I know of is the 50s movie with Gordo MacRae. Probably not quite in the same league!

Just don't forget a bucket to catch the dribbles when you watch it, snuggled up on the sofa on your own with lots of indulgent nibbles and a bottle of wine

Berrie · 24/02/2008 14:43

Tutees I'm picking up 2 new ones next week. I'll try mfl'sf now....

Have left a message telling him that he has 4 very excitable women at each corner of Britain wishing to know more.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 24/02/2008 16:06

Oh God. He thinks were barking mad, doesn't he.

Berrie · 24/02/2008 17:45

Oh I know I know. I've tried again...no idea where he is....

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 24/02/2008 19:44

Pah! Doesn't he know that there are four ladies of a certain age on tenterhooks over here? Tsk.

How did the course go?

Berrie · 24/02/2008 20:01

Bloody nice lunch but I'm afraid most of it was not new to me which is surprising since I've been out of things a few years. I was ahead of my time obviously

I have informed my friend about the waiting women...why does he not have his phone in his pocket?

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/02/2008 20:26

OK then...here we go...I have news...not sure you are going to like it...

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/02/2008 20:33

MFL'sf said, 'I have a story for you, my friend went on a Mum's site and it led to them all meeting up and coming to see you recently. You brought people together from all over the country' and he said,'Yes there's loads of stories like that, it's interesting that most of my fans are middle aged.' At which my friend objected that I was not middle aged just a Mum and Lee agreed Mum's and middle aged.
When I pointed out to my friend that to a 25 year old I was middle aged he laughed like a drain...he also being younger than I...humph. Anyway, he's going to meet Lee for coffee next time he's down so I've threatened to follow him in my Dierdre Barlow get up...

Berrie · 24/02/2008 20:35

Berrie · 25/02/2008 07:06
