universally challenged - other agencies have also sent out that email to check they have correct sizes and details os the baby. They recheck everything before they submit the baby. good luck

mummyeme · 15/10/2007 10:32

Hi all,
Rubystarr, I had the same prob but if you go into your member settings, select "allow other members to contact you" (or something along those lines) and then you should get it thru. These computer things really confuse me but it worked when I changed that setting. Am not in msn group, so no help there I'm afraid. Good luckx

Hi anybody here not with a London agency.

dancerdeb · 15/10/2007 19:47

Hi Christabel,
are you with an agency outside london, if so maybe it will help to jog someones memory, if you say who youre with, and they can help?

Tallie11 · 16/10/2007 10:13

Hi totallyfloaty,

My baby has been accepted by Babyshak, Bizzykids, Elizabeth Smith, Scallywags, little Acorn, and Childsplay......i'm thinking babyshak or Elizabeth Smith.

turquoise81 · 16/10/2007 16:46

Hi there!
My son is 15 months old and has been with AK since february. The only time we heard from them was back in March for a casting for Boden they knew we couldn't attend. The girl even hang up the phone on me!! needless to say I am not really happy with them especially because:1) they often send e-mail threatening to remove kids from the website if they don't get details by a certain date.2)they never reply to my emails when I'm asking for informations.
I am now looking around and he's been accepted by Rascals,Childsplay,Babyshak,Bizzykidz,Kids ltd,DK(but they then told us we live too far),Mimo,Bma,Scallywags.Got a fat no from Bruce&Brown,MOT,Elisabeth Smith.Still waiting to hear from Kids London(I sent the application the day beforre the Royal Mail strike)how long do they usually take to send you an answer?
Really don't know what to do!!!!I am a bit disappointed...

turquoise81 · 16/10/2007 16:47

oh,and he's been accepted by Bubblegum as well

goingfor3 · 16/10/2007 16:50

dancerdeb have you heard back for BHS, we haven't. DD is with B&B.

dancerdeb · 16/10/2007 17:13

turquiose81,
Hiya fully understand where youre coming from, myself and a friend were with AK for about a year and got more or less the same treatment, so we decided to move on, best move I ever made
Now Im with KL and havent looked back since, just keep applying, up until you find the agency right for you and your little one. I called KL in the end and asked them had they received my application, use the postal strike as an excuse to call them, all the best.
goingfor3
Nah we decided not to do BHS, as too busy!!, no we didnt hear either.
Have you done any castings recently, we've not had much, never mind, I cant complain.
I think I'll come out into the open!! my ds is presently on the disney website in a lot of the categories, even accessories, he's the curly haired buzzlightyear boy! excuse me for showing off, I cant contain myself Im so proud

cledjach · 16/10/2007 17:16

Hi everyone, I haven't been on since I asked for your advice on which agency to go with for my new DS a few months ago, so thought I'd come on and give you all an update and say thanks for your helpful advice. We decided to go with B&B in the end, and that has been an excellent choice! DS1 (2.5) is already with Scallywags but may change him to B&B if we can at renewal. DS2 (now 3 mths old) has already had shoots for M&S, and Blooming Marvellous in less than a month, and apparently Babies R Us are really interested in him too! So all very busy here at the moment, hopefully it will continue like this too. Thanks again.

goingfor3 · 16/10/2007 17:25

dancerdeb he is super cute so I'm not suprised you are showing off!!! We had a couple of calls for next week when we are away, it's a real shame as they were straight jobs without a casting.

dancerdeb · 16/10/2007 17:38

goingfor3, thanks for the lovely compliment!
What a shame, straight jobs thats how we all like them, never mind she is being requested so there'll be more.

marymay · 16/10/2007 21:02

sha11 · 20/10/2007 20:53

hi, does anyone know what a 500% buyout for a commercial means.

mummyeme · 22/10/2007 11:27

Hi,
As far as I understand a 500% for commercial means that should the advertiser continue to use an advert with your child in it after 1 year, then they will pay your agent 500% more to buyout the rights to use the material for a further year. Please someone correct me if I've got that wrong. Hope that helps, can't guarantee I'm right though.

Are there agencies in Scotland?

dancerdeb · 24/10/2007 10:08

I think there could be a bizzykidz in
Scotland, I know they've one in Wales, double check on their website, then maybe refer your question to google? Im sure you'll find some.

sha11 · 24/10/2007 11:40
