Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective

Have just finished Lego Masters. Those builds are absolutely amazing! I love the way they comfort the pair who’ve got booted too.

I can’t decide whether to stay in the bath or get out and use the towels. Either way, I’ll not be getting dressed

I was driving my lovely dirty shiny new car home this evening, when "PING!!!" it beeps and a massive warning light comes on... After some squinting I worked out that it was an ice warning. Just in case I hadn't realised that it's fecking cold. Phew. Not "Ping - your new car is broken already"

Helen I’m still surprised, and momentarily worried, when my car does that. I wouldn’t mind but the last one did it too and I had that for a few years.

Am watching a University Challenge Christmas episode featuring distinguished graduates. I did the starter for 10 - which neither team got - and then the three matching questions. They didn’t get any right. My knowledge of vocalists of the 1984 and 2004 versions of Do They Know It’s Christmas finally came in useful

I'm trying to shovel DS into bed - he's busy trawling for Lego sets that he wants for Christmas. Because he doesn't have enough Lego.

He can have some of the Harry Potter Lego and store it at my house

DS2 is being a very reluctant bed time person too.

When DS2 was after Star Wars Lego, he wanted the Empire and the First Order the most. Big fan of Voldemort too. Might have to keep an eye on him

No frost here, just cloudy and chilly. Today I need to clean out the chickens and stew up apple, and do Athos some washing. #DomesticThrills.

Condor’s an American spy thriller CIA type thing. And Max Irons is —lovely— excellent in it. It’s on Universal channel if you have that.

Make sure you give —Athos— the chicken coop a thorough going over.

On the plus side, I did lots of chores, so at least I feel like I've been a bit productive.
