Is anybody oiut there everybody seems to have dissapeared?

have applied now i do meet alot of her kids at castings so i know she gets work.
Im just not to keen on all these joining fees ak charge

Totallyfloaty - I would double check with alphabetkidz about the sole rep thing as I was recently told that they were becoming sole rep and were no longer taking on children who were with other agencies as they were haveing too many 'problems' in putting children up for the same jobs!! Think this applied to new applicants - not sure as we didn't join them in the end!

yep - agree with uu there, we had one casting - but cudnt make it - was for evian and was in a paddling pool - and ds had got 'the runs' so not really a good choice, so i cancelled, and heard nothing from them since!!! am off on hols, but think, when i come back, am gonna start applyin to others again.... kl, b&b, mot (refused twice lol) and might even try bk. he was accepted by a few others, but i didnt go with them, as the fees were high.... still trying to decide if im gonna keep bothering with the modelling or not.... i want to, as he do enjoy the posing, but not bein in london, i think puts us way down the line when we apply

mum2twoboyz,go away and have a lovely holiday, and you might feel differently about it all when you get back, dont give up though, especially if your ds loves it, do try bk, they are a good agency. wishin you great hols!! Has anybody heard of bodens theatre school/casting agency?

mummy eme your have to keep me updated with anythin you get put forward for, a year age gap but you never know they may go up for somehting the same. who was you with before bk?
i'm gonna stick to just the one for the time being as don;t wanna be too busy!! work as well as other baby and shes with SW so don't wanna be running to and throw too much.
once a month would be nice but so far nothing!

Yes will definitely keep you up to date, fingers crossed. You must be busy enough as it is with your little ones wow. Used to be with Norrie Carr but they didn't update photos after 6 mths (my LO was only 10 mths when we joined) so she'd changed quite a bit. Met other mums with NCA at a job and one had cut LOs hair as it had grown so much since NCA photo and she wouldn't have looked anything like photo she'd been booked on! They pay quaterly but getting that was like getting blood from a stone, if you earnt less than £50 they wouldn't raise a cheque so you had to wait 6 mths. I'm sure there are people who've had good experience, thats just what happened to us so I didn't renew. Just left it then, but then she was asked to be an extra in a film and got a main scene which was amazing so we're back to modelling again yey!!!

yay!! we have a casting finally, its for ted baker, debenhams, anybody else going? its on thursday 5.30 - 7.00, hopefully will see one of you there

dancerdeb- good luck for thurs, if the ted baker team are at casting aswell as debs, you are lucky they are lovely to work for. i wish my ds got called for this casting yet no joy. they emailed me photos and posted look books to our home address, they were very kind .

julie4travel, thanks for your good wishes, what do you mean by they emailed you photos and look books, youve already done a job for them? Im not building up my hopes though, did that with petit filous and I was gutted!!
How old is your little one?

I think that its for Ted baker going into debenhams as a designer range so it is more likely to be debenhams people - will be a lovely job if he gets it.....good luck!

mummyeme- what agency did she getfilm with nc or bk, have you only just joined bk?
what film , can we look out for her.. no news for babies r us , i'm sure she said 2nd of july so maybe might get a call nearer the time.
myjobismum- go for it, if you got the time and patience to go to castings then go for it. try the list and see what replys you get,

you are very lucky if you get yes from b&b kl ua (not taking on at the mo i don't think)
scallywags have there books open.
one of mine 6 months with scallywags and my 18 month one with bizzykidz, both very nice friendly agencys.

julie4trave, have seen tedbaker website, is your lo the little boy with the stripey tank top and longish hair, or the redheaded lo, they ae both gorgeous!! my lo is similar to the one with longish hair, only longer!! Well here goes to out first casting with kl today

Good luck today dancerdeb, my daughter is also going for the debenhams castings today. She did a job for them last week and they were a really lovely buch of people for my dd to work with.

dancerdeb- mine is the cheeky red head one! we still havent worked out where the red hair comes from though!

We will be there at about 5 as they are doing two castings back to back. It will be good getting paid for two castings when we only have to travel once!
