Jossie how are you keeping, are you still working???

Edie...cant remember...did you move house???

Hope you are both keeping well x

Jossiejump · 29/09/2007 08:36

Hiya
Have been dealing with having a new bathroom installed-nearly finished now, so I needn't be ashamed of it anymore!
Feeling tired now, with mld SPD, but I think the tiredness is more due to DSs waking me up at all hours of the night!
Have three more weeks (6 days) of work left although I am going to freelance after that.
Have to go now, going to an NCT nearly new sale! Hope you and your LOs are well and thriving

Jossiejump · 03/10/2007 19:46

Hiya
Really shattered today-DS2 has had a bug and is keeping us awake a lot. Midwife gave me a bit of a shock yesterday, the baby was breech and is now transverse with very violent kicks and punches, she really emphasised the need for me to contact the delivery suite if the baby made the waters leak as an emergency CS would be needed, but was talking about within the next week . I think she was just making sure I understood the need for urgency in that case (but I've still officially got 7 weeks to go!) Knowing my luck I'll end up going to 42 weeks. Mind you I really must get my baby clothes washed and my bag packed just in case! I've got another couple of weeks for it to turn before they start discussing next steps, which happens to coincide with my next growth scan.
Hope you are all well

EdieMcredie · 18/10/2007 14:35

Any news Josie??

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 18/10/2007 22:07

Midwife is still worrying, hospital aren't bothered, they will take a look at my growth scan next week. Baby keeps changing from head down to transverse, so we'll see.

lynnec · 27/10/2007 22:58

Hi ya, how are you both???
Not been around, our internet has been playing up big time...its been a nightmare.

Jossie have you had lo???

Eddie, hows you and lo???

Jossiejump · 28/10/2007 08:42

Hiya-not had LO yet-been told that it will be over 9lbs, so not that little. Hoping it will be early.
Have felt really odd for last day or so and it has changed positions again!
Hope all is going well for both of you and your babies

EdieMcredie · 29/10/2007 15:50

Im not liking this new style MN! Really confsued. Things going well here, Millie is gaining weight really well despite a few problems with her latching on.

Bet you can't wait now Josie!

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 30/10/2007 21:01

Really looking forward to LO arriving (even though I know only too well all of the hard work to come!).
I have tried to change my MN back to the classic as much as possible, as I can't always take change.
Glad things are going well Edie

lynnec · 31/10/2007 22:40

glad you are both doing well.....must admit, im not too impressed with these new mn settings either, thought at first it was just me!!

All well here, Kayla is now the size of a 6 month old, in stead of 12 week old, ive put new pics on here, show you'se how big she is!!! shes now in the 95 centile for height
she's still brilliant, sleeps 15 hours through the night now, and just smiles and giggles during the day, so cant complain!

Hope you are both doing ok, it was good to hear from you both, thought i had lost you both, since i havent been on pc for weeks and weeks!!!

Jossiejump · 02/11/2007 06:35

Kayla looks lovely Lynne - she looks a lot older! I'm very envious of all the sleep you are getting, why haven't my boys done that?? Mind you DS2 did sleep through for twelve hours from 9 weeks, DS1 has never slept for 12 hours in 7 years!!!
Best wishes to both of you

lynnec · 02/11/2007 19:38

Jossie how long do you have left??? Sorry totally fogot your edd. Infact, since having Kayla i forget everything!!! Hope you are keeping ok, im missing being being pg. Jossie how did you get on with your bathroom???

Edie, how are you and the lo getting on?? Do you plan to go back to work??

Hope you both have a nice weekend. x

EdieMcredie · 18/11/2007 10:48

JOsie, how are you? Have you had your baby yet? Im fine thanks girls, Millie is still being an absolute angel although I guess I would say that. She has been sleeping through the night for a while now and breastfeeding is now totally painless and lovely which is a stage I never thought I would get to.

She has had a cold for a while now so I have been giving her nose drops and putting menthol in her baths which helps. Bought a calpol menthol plug in despite her being about 2 and a half weeks too young for it. Health visitor said it would be fine and it's actually only got natural ingrediants so im not concerned.

I go back to work next June and will hopefully be doing one night shift a week which means that DP will be with Millie and we won't have any childcare costs.

Hope you are both well, have been thinking about you despite being too busy to post to you as much as I would like to xxxxxxx

Hiya still here and twiddling thumbs!
LO not due until Friday, but have had several false alarms, including pains every twelve minutes for several hours yesterday!
Glad to know that it is going well with you-how old are your LOs now?

EdieMcredie · 24/11/2007 17:04

My god, that does sound frustrating! I was also getting lots of false alarms-sooo annoying.

Millie is 10 weeks now. She looks about 6 months old though because of her weight and height. But she is very pretty-I must post some photos.

Good luck Josie and keep us posted

EdieMcredie · 02/12/2007 10:40

I might look back on some of our very early threads as can't exactly remember how we all met now. I know the circumstances, and I always knew one day we would all have a new LO!

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 03/12/2007 21:19

Hiya-
All going well so far, my LO is now called Ben.
Fingers crossed that it continues, but he is going anywhere from 3.5-6 hours between feeds at night (although feeds every two hours during the day) so I am getting a fair amount of sleep, which helps. He is gorgeous, his brothers love him! He doesn't cry often so far, but was crying when DS1 came in from school today, DS1 spoke to him and he stopped crying.
I am absolutelt besotted, but I don't deny that it will be a juggling act keeping all 3 of my boys hapy at once
Glad to know it is going well for both of you-I know what you mean Edie, I was thinking about our first conversations the other day, after my brother had told me that he could get me a job as a mystery shopper for the underground, I was thinking about our conversations about mystery shopping. We'd been chatting for a time before that as well.

EdieMcredie · 08/12/2007 14:34

Oh wow what a gorgeous name. I bet he is lovely. Bottle or breast?

How are you feeling?

I know, we have been chatting for a year now surely.

How are you Lynne?

Hiya
Feeling really well, just a little tired! DH goes back to work next week, so reality will hit me then-plus the week after that is the school holidays, DH is working over Christmas unfortunately.
Ben is doing well and gaining weight, I'm breast feeding and hope to be able to continue as I had to give up with DS1 & 2 due to their reflux.
What are you both doing for Christmas-I'm going to my parents on Christmas day and DH will joing us there, we'll stay overnight and he will go back to work the next day, then my in laws are here on the Saturday afterwards.
Hope you are ok

EdieMcredie · 26/12/2007 18:58

How is it going Josie? How is the BFing?

Did you both have a nice Christmas? Yesterday was nice for me but today I have a tummy bug and feel pants
