Morning all.

I'm useless at flower arranging. On the very, very rare occasion that I get some I just unwrap them and plonk them in a vase as they are. DH on the other hand is very good, not particularly with real flowers, but with silk ones. He's made some lovely arrangements.

Tired. So very very tired. Hey, but it's okay because when I got home DH told me that "my" washing machine had just finished and that he was "absolutely shattered" because he'd cleaned the bathroom. Lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes. He did manage to get one of the library books for me though so I shall let him live. And he's going out tonight so if can persuade DS2 to stay in his room with the iPad, I can catch up with Outlander

I can't imagine you'd have a problem with DS2 staying in his room in exchange for ipad time? Not sure your DH will be able to go out though, I mean he must be exhausted after cleaning the bathroom. No wonder he had no energy for hanging out washing as well. After all, it takes me about, oooh, 1/2 hour to clean the bathroom and there's no way I could manage a night out as well after all that effort. Still, you're home now and Outlander is on the cards...

Maybe TB meant Martin Scorsese when he mentioned an American director. Yes I know that's already started and looks weird but I'm clutching at straws. Nah, he won't go to live there, maybe do a film but he wouldn't leave his family.

You could set an example to some folk in my office Helen. See a piece of work with a deadline and actually deal with it yourself, instead of doing a bit yourself and then emailing a long list of stuff still to be done to someone else whilst you then piss around chatting for most of the day.
