I need to get in the shower and then I'm going to a supermarket as I've seen some nice pyjamas so hopefully they've got them in store. I'm trying for the double perfection of brand new pyjamas with brand new bedding tonight

We're out this afternoon and evening though which will be extremely enjoyable but not sure what time we'll be back so I've quadruple checked that I've got Strike set to record.

I am, unsurprisingly, a bit trashed today after yesterday's shovelling, wheelbarrowing, tamping down etc. So we're thinking about a walk, the beach, and monopoly. We might actually do one or more of them, but DS wants to finished the episode of Doctor Who that he's watching, so then again we may lose all momentum and spend the day in the house wearing PJs.

Hope that LetUsesezes supermarket has the right PJs in the right size and everyone has a good day.

Helen - is there any chance of you going for a proper sports massage or similar in real life? I'm getting the feeling that the ones you're getting from the HBFs aren't that effective. I strongly suspect they start off with the intention of sorting your back out, but then - as the saying goes - one thing leads to another.....

Well, DH went to sleep AGAIN during Outlander, so we had to rewind to the bedroom floor scene. Honestly, how many times does he think I want to watch it? Oh, Jamie's so lovely.

Strike Day, yeeees! We've been waiting for this for almost a year, it was 6th September last when it was announced. Where has that year gone? Frightening.

I have to go to visit Buffy today. DD and family are at the caravan and the last time they left her for two nights she had a tooth abscess and they came home to find her in a terrible state.

I have booked theatre, cinema & a tree tops activity thingy. We will also have a day out shopping in a large out-of-town type place. Just now need to sort out some short local trips and decide on some more restaurants - I will not be cooking for a few days to make it feel more holiday-like.

Didn't do any more washing in the end. Went out to do the bees (and get rid of the bloody enormous spiders in one of the hives) and came back with an egg (admittedly from the chickens, but marching back to the hosue in full bee suit, carrying an egg, did make me smile re. the usual Tav efforts when the livestock needs looking after Then played 'Here and Now' monopoly - some wierd versin where you collec passport stamps, not proerties. The only plus point (apart from one of the counters being an Easter Island head) is that it's much quicker than proper Monopoly...
