The only review I've seen today is in the Telegraph and headlines with:
The Silkworm, part two, review: an overly convoluted whodunit saved by the grumpy charisma of its star
and then... this really made me laugh after recent conversations (Where is wicked?):
What had started as an unflinching plunge into the backstabbing underbelly of London publishing – a mise en scène with which Rowling is no doubt intimately familiar – had devolved into a forgettable episode of Midsummer Murderers.

It's a shame, really, because while I like not being treated like an idiot, and being made to think with TV dramas, the leaps in logic are ridiculously huge. It's also odd the way lots of reviews/comments/ articles read as if people aren't aware that Career has already been filmed. we already know that it's two episodes, it's done. But there are lots of comments saying that people hope it will be three episodes oh well.

Now, the hand kissing part I did approve of, and all the lovely close ups of his pouty little face couldn't you just smoosh it. Overall however, the whole production would have been greatly improved by Tom Burke getting his kit off

PS Also agree about feeling sorry for Matthew. Can you imagine his reaction when he saw her bashed up face? Another thing about the adaptation - they are making matthew more likeable than in the book.
