We've done a long forest walk which incorporated a treasure hunt for DS2 although DS1 seemed to be keen to find the clues first despite saying he wasn't interested.

So of course last night I dreamed my car had been stolen/gone missing, and I was also looking after someone else's child! Which sounds like a mix of Apricot dream and real life. This is a good thing to be like Apricot as most times I look like I've slept in a skip.

LetUs, sorry you caught my dream. The sky gondola sounds lovely, if a little scary.

I don't know whether to read the Strike books again. I can't remember the stories now, but I'm sure they'll come back to me. I'm scared I'll ruin it for DH by saying 'oh yes, I remember now, he did it.'

Have had a fab day out. Rode the sky gondola partway up Very Big Mountain. Went for a walk to a viewpoint with some gorgeous views and had some lunch. DS2 had a bit of a silent strop in the gift shop Weather was lovely and sunny(!) all day.

Got back to where we're staying and it's just started lashing it down. No matter we're not going anywhere tonight and I've put the chickens to bed so they won't get soggy after their grooming session.

I don't think I've got enough booze to cope with it.

Work was pretty good actually, slightly dull as so many people are on holiday, but productive. I am also in a massively better mood today - I have spent approx the last week a blubbering, miserable mess & it seems that was PMT. First period in 6 months turned up last night & now I'm over the shock, by fuck, I feel so much better.
