Re irons. I'm still using one that I had as a wedding present. Yes, really!! The modern ones are too heavy and it still works fine. Ok, the steam doesn't work any more but I never used that anyway.

In shocking news DS didn't get up at 6:30, complained about DH waking him at 7:00, and then said he didn't want to get out of bed at 7:30 He is in practise for his teenage years... or he's been replaced by a badly researched body-snatcher!

Yes, I was a little late last night although more innocent that you all suspect - FancyMan had been at some reunion thingy and was a little tipsy last night, there was much playing of music & futile attempts at getting me to sing. As I was stone cold sober that was never going to happen

This is how conversations I have go:

Me: Did you watch Strictly?
Them: Oh, no, I don't watch it
Me: What did you get up to? (or similar)

Although I have colleagues who do ask if I watched [name of show I don't watch] and when I say no, proceed to tell me all about it with me, when they've paused for breath, saying again I don't watch it.
