DS has gone up to bed by himself because I let him stay up a bit later to finish watching a TV programme if he promised to go straight up etc etc.

Stupid cat came in last night absolutely sodden and keeping one eye shut. So I think she had a run-in with something and got stuck out in the rain for a while having a mexican stand-off. She is still keeping it mostly shut today and I haven't been able to take a good look at it. It's obviously not bothering her much (still eating and sleeping as normal), but I suspect I will be taking her to see the vet tomorrow. I shall be re-naming her Moneypit Though to be fair, she has a long way to go to catch up with her brother on vet bills.

Well, I say he's gone to bed - he's gone up to his bedroom and is busy making paper airplanes. He has been told (as part of being allowed to stay up later) that he is not to shout down for me, on pain of not having any computer time tomorrow...

1. new tree and interim support for rambling rose until tree grows enough
2. build something trellisy for Rose to ramble up
3. Try to dig rose out (in autumn) and put it elsewhere

So, took StupidCat to the vet because she hasn't properly opened her eye by herself for 36 hours.... Got into surgery.... stuck her box on the table.... opened her box.... and what do I see but two huge wide eyes gazing back up at me and the vet. FFS cat.
Still, apparently she has conjunctivitis and I have to torture her give her eyedrops four time a s day. She's going to love that...

In other news, did we know that TB is on the radio on Saturday - in an adaptation of Marathon Man I think Apricot flagged it up on the last thread, but I may be deluded...
