Have been away in Menorcan sunshine for a few days so just checked the end of the last thread. Sounds very positive indeed and Crimbo will be stupendous Smile

On chickenpox watch again here, DGS had it a couple of weeks ago and now DD has two suspicious looking spots. She's had it already but that's no reassurance, I've had it twice.

married my DB has never had chicken pox. He's 14. I just hope he doesn't catch it off any of mine when my younger two eventually get them. It's meant to be worse when you're older isn't it?
(DS1 got them at 8 weeks!)

Just checking in before I really, really go on me jollies. Spent the night in a hotel before boarding the ship later today.

Had a giant burger for tea last night. I'm still it very hungry. Clearly I need to up my game before we sail.

I'd like to go on a cruise like the one in Poirot's Death on the Nile. Old wooden boat, not too many passengers and a nice juicy murder which I'd help solve being v clever whilst looking elegant and glam in a silk dress.

fid that sounds very glam. I couldn't wear a silk dress. When you weigh 16 stone a slinky elegant dress is not to be worn. To be fair I'd probably be the one to be murdered. And my chalk outline would be a circle...Grin

My niece has gone into hospital just now to be induced. Waters went last night but nothing else. Back to back baby at moment, estimated weight 9lb. 3oz !! He is just over a week late. Have waited so long for this little one.

I am very jealous of your cruise, ikl. It's far too long since I've been on a ship. Now I will make Fid jealous; I did a 4 night Nile cruise about 9 years ago and loved it.

I really hope the reduced dose of chemo that I'll be getting next week really will lessen the side effects. I'm still struggling. I went to bed just after midnight last night but couldn't get to sleep until around 07.00 am. Thankfully I woke up around 11.30 am as I had my annual appointment with my breast surgeon at 2.30 pm this afternoon. The cording in my left armpit has been really bothering me recently so I'm being referred for some physiotherapy. Then after the hospital I went grocery shopping and while trundling around Tesco I had a really bad attack of cramps / muscle spasms in my hands. They just suddenly seize up into claws and it not only hurts like holy hell, it takes ages for them to relax.

I'm utterly exhausted so heading up very shortly for an early night.

Will be thinking of you lin and crossing everything that all goes well for your niece.
They might get her on all fours to try and get the baby to turn.

She has text to say pessary to soften cervix can take hours, then she has to have a drip to start labour so obviously won't be tonight. They have said could all take a couple more days. She isn't happy !

After a very difficult day, my niece is now 8cm. So not too much longer. Fatty and I think he should be born on her birthday. Looks like he could be Fingers crossed!

If I disappear for a bit it's because I've thrown the fucking laptop and the fucking phone in the sodding ditch because I couldn't get online all day, tried everything, only here now through DH's hotspot haha, usually through my own hotspot, story of my life!
