Must admit I had a bout of flight-looking-up-itis earlier. To get away from here, lovely though it is. Run-away-itis maybe.

Have ditched my useless lawyer and found a new one. Set lots of legal stuff in motion already and the divorce is finally on its way. Wish I'd used them before and saved myself a lot of heart-thumping worry. But I know his wife and teach his daughter so was cowardly.

Still 'tis done and next Monday I find out what's going on with the court and I'm fed up enough to keep asking "Heh, what? Please explain." And again. Getting divorced in a foreign language is not easy. Plus the FidKids are a bit all over the place about it.

And I have no gin.

Baby finally born in last hour by c section. New dad was stunned, didnt know weight or time he was born !

Hahaha, he sounded absolutely stunned and didn't have a clue !! Now know baby was 9lb and was born at 1.30am. Think she went through a tough time, but all is well now.

DH and I went on a Nile cruise a long time ago. It was before we were even engaged and we have been married for 15 years, so it must be 16 or 17 years ago. I think it went from Luxor to Aswan and it was gorgeous. So many interesting things to see, Luxor, Valley of the Kings, markets and souks. We left the tour for one night and stayed at the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan, which is where Agatha Christine wrote Death on the Nile (am huge AC fan). It was magic. Highly recommend it. did not float around in wafty silk dresses though
