Hope everyone has had the sunshine we have had here today, lovely gardening weather ! Enjoy the bank holiday weekend, especially you Zombie.

It's been partly sunny / partly cloudy in Zombie's part of DDS. At least the temperature didn't drop by 20 degrees every time a cloud came along.

Agh ! I should not of posted that because it's now bloody raining , great big drops at that. Hope we don't get thunder and lightening too !

I have decided I will only see that name as FFBabe

Have been agonising over what to wear. It's rather warm in London but I'm off to the Midlands for 24 hours where it's always 5 degrees cooler and don't have anything between a long mac and a short cardi. Going to risk less but might have to raid my sisters wardrobe later

It's lovely and warm (not to mention sunny) in the W Midlands.

Bit overcast here today but have been busy in the garden yesterday and today. Put a new fence up as some blew down during the last storm. Several trips to the tip. We call it the clampet run and Dh thinks he is taking me out ! Been to three garden centres and have bought several plants and the feed for my tubs, now back to tidying up our mess and getting rid of weeds !
My one fear is that there will be a slow worm lurking about ready to slither out ugh !
Oh and I have bought some runner bean plants, which is my fav veg of all time mmmm !

Who wants gin? Or vodka? I need it. My legs hurt and my feet have blisters from all the walking I did yesterday.

Zombie is tired. WSBU to go to bed this early?

I was knitting. Until DS2 decided bedtime isn't happening and he wants to play.

Hope you got off to bed pronto Zombie, hot chocolate with a splash of brandy is a good nightcap in these circs, helps prevent "Night Starvation" a major worry of my Mother's!

It's Chemo Countdown time again.

Tomorrow is blood work day. I have some shopping and other errands I'd like to run in town so I'm going to aim for an early (for Zombie) start. Get still delcate plants out of the "greenhouse", MaccyD brekkie, re-fuel the Skoda, Park and Ride into town centre for the errands and part of the shopping, Pets at Home for the ZombieCat shopping, hospital for bloods, Sainsbos for Zombie food, home, water and put still delicate plants back in the "greenhouse".

Thursday is Chemo Day. IF I get everything on tomorrow's list done tomorrow I can have a leisurely start. Leave around noon, have lunch at the hospital and report to the Chemo Day Centre for 2.30 pm. If all is running to schedule I should be home by 5.30 / 6.00 pm.

Friday will be spent checking my temperature, taking paracetamol for the aches and pains, and napping under the duvet.

At least there's a pattern to my life.

Blimey, I need a lie in just reading that Z, I'll send all my energetic vibes to you.
You will get everything done tomorrow and we'll be here to drink a toast to that tomorrow night.

Just out of interest, does it have to be paracetamol? You can't take a combo of that and codeine?

I try to keep the pain relief to the minimum needed to keep me comfortable, BBB. I do have codeine, cocodamol and morphine on hand if I really need them. Paracetamol usually does the job though.

I will be taking things at ZombieShuffle™ pace tomorrow. With luck and a following wind I should be able to get through the list.

Good, sleep must be a huge part of the recuperation, and sleep is difficult if you can't relax or are in pain.
