I'm home.

Everything is OK. The Sister wasn't sure why the appointment was on such short notice. There was a bit of encouraging news. My most recent CA15.3 (that's a tumour marker) level is well within the normal range. That suggests that whatever it is they saw on my last scans probably isn't cancer.

CT scan and Echocardiogram appointments are being requested for the week commencing 02 May. My next oncology appointment to review the scan results is being requested for the week commencing 16 May.The liver surgeon has not responded to the letter my oncologist sent in early March. The Sister and/or my oncologist will chase the Liver team and ask if my MRI scan can also be scheduled for early May. At least there's a partial plan!

BBB I am a big sister too. I was not a bad influence forgets to mention the fights she got her brother into, or that she used to go to his high school and get him to skip school (mum sent us to different schools to avoid us skipping off together)

Just got home and had to come and check on zombies news. So glad for you that all is going ok, what a feeling of relief you must of felt. Also glad there is some sort of plan for you.

Just had an email from DS telling me to bring warm kit as snow, down to village level, is forecast for the w/e & next week. (They live in the Alps).

I took in a selection of Tesco Finest Cakes for the Chemo Day Centre and Oncology Clinic to share in honour of my birthday tomorrow and as a general Thank You for keeping me going. My reward was lots of hugs.
