Hi all,
Sorry if this is a question you have had thousands of times, but I would like to register my DS (21 weeks) with an agency, can you recommend any in London?
Thanks

Lolly68 · 13/11/2006 16:08

Sleepinheaven - if you read post from Little Madam below it gives you all the information you need for the timebeing! If you need any further help after that then come back and ask! Good luck.

SleepInHeavenlyPeace · 13/11/2006 16:10

Oh, the info was right there
thanks!

marymay · 13/11/2006 16:17

hi littlemadan..has your ds get asked to do a photographers portfolio shoot on saturday?
only ask as had a call last week to see if dd was interested and asked if she could do am or pm.its at the london docklands.
we havent heard anything back yet.is it the same one? if it is do you know which photographer it is..thanks

littlemadam · 13/11/2006 16:17

Marymay - don't know It would be nice if it is!!

littlemadam · 13/11/2006 16:20

Marymay, we haven't heard anything back yet at all, I did mean to ask B and B when they called today but I always am doing something like being at the checkout in Tescos or trying to park the car and lose the plot!!!.....It might be the same, I didn't even get a location!!

princessmel · 13/11/2006 16:23

Hi everyone, I saw that lindac's grandson is on the bubblegum website and thought I'd tell you that my dd is on there too now! She is Lily and is in 1 year section.
Good luck with any jobs/castings coming up.

marymay · 13/11/2006 16:26

Hi there - how is everyone doing? Not fully caught up with all posts but saw your dd had hurt his leg Julie - hope he's OK. Hi to Ragamuffin, thought you'd been quiet for a while! Mumof2boyz - it's a pain that Starnow listings don't always come back if it's a no! DD has been shortlisted for the 4-year-old girl one on the travel brochure, so I'll keep fingers crossed! (Though not ever so hopeful as she's not actually 4 yet, but you never know - her being so big for her age could be an advantage!)

mum2twoboyz · 13/11/2006 17:49

housemum.... yes, ds is shortlisted for that brochure too, guess we just have to wait - im just annoyed, as julie got shortlisted, then got a reply - no - but ive not even had that!! think its a bit late notice now, so am assumin its a no, but they cant be bothered to tell me lol good luck for ur dd for the brochure tho!

ellesmum · 13/11/2006 17:50

princess - had a peek at you dd, on bubblegums website, she is so cute! the picture of her in the pink top and skirt is the best.

strawberrymilkshake · 13/11/2006 18:43

hi elle31 if you ring up the London travel information they will tell you exactly which trains and undergrounds etc and the times there phone number is 020 7222 1234. hope this helps

ellesmum · 13/11/2006 19:06

elle31 - elle also if you go to multi map and type in the address it will tell you nearest tube stations and directions if you are driving.

housemum · 13/11/2006 19:10

Interesting - anyone else had an e-mail from Miss/Mr British Isles? I just had an e-mail asking me to confirm I'd like to enter, saying they need £200 per finalist, for a Model Of The Year competition on 26th November! We didn't take part in the last one.

littlemadam · 13/11/2006 19:53

Elle31 tfl.gov.uk is excellent, I use it every time as it draws you a little map, and gives buses if thats easier. Foolproof enough even for me!!

julie4travel · 13/11/2006 20:23

mysonsmummy · 13/11/2006 21:30

the party was fantastic - 43 kids. ds had amazing time probably one of the best of his life.

sainsburys job was fab in a house. we were in and out in 20 minutes. they said testerment to ds that they could get everything they wanted in 6 shots - when they thought it would take 2 hours. its for 'fresh ideas' march issue a mailing magazine for nector. cant wait - long wait though.

the props hadnt arrived in time for wollys. so did not try anything on. but they did want to check who was available for wed/thursday.

2ManyPimms · 13/11/2006 21:55

Mysons - WOW! 43 children at the party! Glad DS had a great time! All the pressies too! I'll look out for the Nectar catalogue! Isn't it great when shoots go really well!?

Julie - Great news about the student film!

It took ages to get to the Woolies casting. The people were very nice but DS wasn't asked about availability for Wed/Thurs so I think that is a "no". Well, at least we got home in time for him to go to Beavers! :D

Ragamuffin · 13/11/2006 22:11

Thanx for all the good wishes for the casting today. DS loved the trip and really enjoyed making a new friend julie! Great to finally meet you too. He seemed to have quite a long chat with the casting director and was able to recall most of it on the train home. Fingers crossed now!!

mrsratty....DD did a student film for the London Film School on Sun. She loved it! It was just a little treat for her and something new for the CV. She has come so close to some lovely projects this year and then not got them so felt she deserved to actually doing a film after all her hard work!

julie.....Well Done on yours getting a student film. I would definately do it! It's invaluable experience and something they will really enjoy. Will e-mail more on the subject tomorrow. Too tired now..bed calling!

housemum Did you ever get my letter with DD's pics?

Booklover · 13/11/2006 22:44

Many thanks littlemadam for the info, much appreciated!

housemum · 14/11/2006 00:21
