mythumbelinas - Mothercare and Next have been really good when I've called the press office. It really depends who you talk to instore and what sort of mood they are in!

The magazine does look really cool but costs £29 so I don't think I'll be buying a copy!!!

mythumbelinas · 09/11/2006 17:30

mrsratty, thanks .. i will try bhs press office tomorrow .. they might still have something ..
wow £29 for a mag?? does it come complete with shares or something?!!!

mrsratty · 09/11/2006 17:37

It comes out twice a year and I'm assuming it's really big. I think it might be more like a trend catalouge with cool Junior style clothes/pictures.

mrsratty · 09/11/2006 17:38

The BHS press office may be able to email you the photos.

mythumbelinas · 09/11/2006 17:43

i will be happy with pics via email .. here's hoping
yes, it does sound like a big mag .. trendy and everything. Very exciting!!

i'm off to cook dinner in my cold kitchen now ..

Hi can anyone give me info on childs play and bizzykids ?? been accepted but are they any good. I spoke on here this morning but I dont know if any one has there kids with these agents thanks jo

mrsratty · 09/11/2006 18:06

They both get work and there is probably not much difference except price. The is a lady on here who has a child with Bizzykidz and has done well with them. I don't think anyone on her has children with Childsplay. Have you tried Kids London, Bruce and Brown and MOT as they are the top ones along with Urban Angels but their books are now closed.

littlemadam · 09/11/2006 18:07

There are one or two with Bizzykids, if you look on the old threads there has been a lot of discussion!! Try this site childmodelling as it rates all the agencies. Hope that helps! Where are you based?

littlemadam · 09/11/2006 18:08

Sorry Mrsratty posted together!!

mummsyjo · 09/11/2006 18:12

yes i tryed bb no luck ! got to send photos for kl Its difficult to know who to go with childsplay seem good but i need to meet or talk with someone whos children are with them ! who are your children with ?? did you have a casting for boots ??

mummsyjo · 09/11/2006 18:15

I am based in north london She is with an agency called bowdens just waiting for her photos to be updated they did not charge anything. Where r u based

littlemadam · 09/11/2006 18:19

Boots was for the babies, my DS is older. Both Mrsratty and I are with B and B. Did someone say about Bowdens earlier - was it lindac?? They did lots of acting I think. How have they been for you?? How old is your LO? Its very hard but I'd try KL before deciding.

yackertyyack · 09/11/2006 18:20

Well one very tired boots baby here!! We were there most of the day and DD had some gorgeous pics taken - some with a v lovely 'model dad' Have fun tomorrow DLM & DK - the team were all lovely (and patient!!)

Yackerty, sounds like a long day. Well done DD!

3lambs · 09/11/2006 18:34

Mummysjo-is Bowdens a stage school?? am sure my friend went there years ago

mummsyjo · 09/11/2006 18:37

mummsyjo · 09/11/2006 18:42

yes bowdens is a stage school , they require babies and toddlers to three yrs old to work film television and commercials. my lo was up for a channel five series .everyone from north london trys to get there children in there .

3lambs · 09/11/2006 18:59

it must be the one my friend went to as shes from palmers green, does it go all the way up to adults as i'm sure she was about 16??

ellesmum · 09/11/2006 19:07

mrsratty - well done for dd getting the mag job, looks very trendy!

lainismum - go to www.kokobino.com the coat is £30 so not bad, i would buy it if i didnt have to knit it! lol

well done to all the boots babies 2

ellesmum · 09/11/2006 19:08

forgot to say well done thumbs for your dds job 2 and i have emailed u

housemum · 09/11/2006 19:11

Yackerty - what was your "model dad" like? DD's from Boots was a tall, slim, square-jawed blond fella! (Unlike her average height, dark (and grey)-haired, not-so-slim dad!)

lindac · 09/11/2006 19:23

littlemadam - no it wasnt me i have never heard of them

lindac · 09/11/2006 19:35

right of the track here, but anybody seen the thread about someonr who thinks her dds hamster fell in her cassarole and she's eaten it ? very wierd but quite funny replys lol
