Thought I would start a new thread for November

i got a shortlisted back for cayden, but as yet not heard anything - it did say they wud let us know either yes or no, so i guess we will hear something...................... lol
btw - thanks for all the advice i had the other day, am still in 2 minds what to do, have now had ds accepted by rascals, but a no from ua (cud be a due to distance thing again)

oh and julie - i saw the pick of ur dd on that site earlier, thought it was a fab pic - so well done - that is gonna make a fab xmas card!!

thanks mumof2boyz i am happy with the picture. looks so christmasy. wouldn't think it was just a snap shot in my garden that i sent in!

UA said no to my kids too. my ds they had a similar looking child on tehir books (which i have seen in junior mag and is very similar to him , i was suprised at how much they looked alike) , my dd was a no - cant remember reason.

you may find someone like rascals is good for you. i am doing ts for next year with my dd to see how she goes and paid out quite a bit yet i am willing to do it for a year.

fingers crossed that someone on here gets the catelogue job and they dont say no to us due to distance. I am not as far as you yet still outside london.

meid good luck with your assesment. word of advise try to walk by the canal to get there. we went the road way which took ages. my ds was moaning about his legs etc before we arrived. it was a lot longer that way. we got a taxi back to teh tube after! there is a cafe and toilets there if you arrive early or need to change clothes, or maybe star spot!!! good luck

my ds old school was cooperative yet new school it all goes through as unauthorised absence due to stats etc! hopefully your school will be good!

yeah - still waiting on norrie carr, mot, alphabet kids & elliott brown, and need to send sum pics to bubblegum.... guess we just have to wait on the catalogue - i wud have thought we might have a small chance & it never said u had to be inside london.... hey - if we didnt stand a chance, we wud have had a no straight off lol

Not sure who it was but someone a few weeks back said there was a modelling comp to do with jeans and they put a link for website. Can anyone remember as wrote it down and can't find it.

Not been around much as DD has been ill with a chest infection and needing lots of attention.
I see the Bubblegum website has gone live now. Anyone's LOs on there? We missed the shoot for the model book/website so are going to the mop-up shoot on 18th, can't wait.

Dylans - I saw a poster of a baby with a reindeer hat on in Tesco, could it have been Dylan? The picture was also on a Flroence and Fred discount leaflet but I lost it on the way home!

hi guys, so excited .. ellesmun saw the new snow pics in M&S today. They were only little ones of elle in the pink jumper and my dd with the boy in the snow in pj's!!

mrsratty, for mothercare did your dd wear a crochet hat? I saw a pic hanging from the ceiling, with a baby?

now i'm having a 'doh!' moment, coz i have a lovely new mobile with sony camera and i forgot to take pics of the pics!!!

mrsratty, i only thought coz the girl has the same beaming smile as the other pic she did for mothercare. She was wearing something red with a fluffy white trim? Sorry, it was quite close up and pic about 30x60cm. Honestly i can't believe i didn't take pics of it or in m&s. I don't know when i will go back as i was taking dd2 to a casting. It was King's St in Hammersmith .. I will try ..
