Is EB any good, do they get work in London as they are Oxford based aren't they?

Just couldn't resist popping on to MN for a few mins - should be blitzing the house while dd at pre-school as Mum is babysitting tonight - not quite the Anthea white glove test but near enough (usually "subtle" comments like, "it's interesting you have so many toys downstairs" or "have you tried such-and-such in the bathroom?")

Anyone know if B&B or UA are sole agency? Have sent dd's pics to B&B, awaiting response. Will send to UA in October when they open their books.

They are both sole rep. UA are accepting applications at the moment despite sayoig they don't open the books until October. GOOD LUCK.

mrratty - tbh I don't know if EB are any good! Hmmm, maybe I won't go with them afterall hehe. isabel from CM has just signed with them so I might see if she has any luck....

mrratty has a casting and a call back for an advert but unfortunately DD didnt get it, nevermind all good experience for her.

I'm really suprised she did that as she said she had a yes from both B&B and Kids london who in the past she always said were the best!

Elliot Brown, they are based in Oxford and have a very nice website though I've never heard from anyone who has been with them before.

She said that the woman who held the interview was lovely, maybe that's why she went with them.

I haven't met anyone from them that I know of

When you have been to castings, which agencies have you seen kids from?

It varies but mainly Scallywags, Kids london, Bruce and brown, Elisabeth Smith and MOT, thats off the top of my head, I'm sure there have been others but there are some I have never heard of apart from on here

yeah they are all sole rep, the only one that ive heard of that is good and not sole rep is MOT, have you tried them housemum?

I've only seen kids from B&B, UA, KL and Elisabeth Smith at photographic but at commercails castings there are many more.

yackerty are you about? i wanted to ask how is ds' nursery when u have taken him out for the day to do a job/casting? my ds has something next week but am slightly stressed about taking him out for the day seeing as it is only his 2nd week and im supposed to be at college at the time of the job.

at commercial castings there are many theatrical agencies which are more local based.

i have seen kids from KL, MOT, UA, ES, Rascals, TS and Sandra Reynolds at castings/jobs. I can't think whether I have seen any from B and B, they were probably there but I just didn't notice (am slightly gormless at times!!).

We've been very quiet for the last two weeks, but DS loving school. Long may that continue.
At castings we have generally seen UA, KL ES and B and B, but at TV commercials, more variety inc Rascals and Scallywags.

hi quad how's it going? NYC was great just very rushed and needed another holiday when I got back. College is stressful have so much to learn bu hopefully in 6 mths time i will be working for a newspaper FINALLY!!! Typical that ds gets a job when im at college, and i really can't afford to miss the afternoon session as it is shorthand and it is so hard!!!!!

had a really nice time in nyc, spent loads and bought some nice presents!

shame you couldnt make sunday but it was nightmareish for everyone to get there becasue of the footie. we had a nice afternoon lets hope u can get to the next one!
