hi

OP posts:
kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:12

Where are the CM photos? is there a link?

Quadrophenia · 21/09/2006 19:16

also buy out rates are normally specified on the liscence application, if you have been told you are getting a buy out you probably will but otherwise I wouldn't expect one. Did your agency not specify when she was booked for the job?

mrratty · 21/09/2006 19:20

They didn't but I don't mind as it was so nice seeing her in so many places!

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:20

mrratty (I think it's you), what is your dd wearing in her Mothercare pics? Is it an orange dress with a black witches hat?

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:22

I was just going to say I have an email with her in but I read afterwards you already have it...... is there a blushing face?!

mrratty · 21/09/2006 19:23

kerryarron - yes that's her!

mrratty · 21/09/2006 19:25

Thanks for the thought! Littlemadam very kindly just sent it to me.

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:27

Awww, she looks lovely!! Which agency is she with?

mrratty · 21/09/2006 19:36

Thanks, she's been with Bruce and Brown since April.

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:37

How long did they take before accepting her?

mrratty · 21/09/2006 19:41

Kipsey replied very quickly, I emailed the photos and she was on their books by the end of the day!

educatingrita · 21/09/2006 19:44

Gosh thats a record, they recently offered representation to my elder DD but it took them 5 weeks to get back to me which I hear is par for the course.
Then they wondered why I said no as I was with MOT, but that must happen a lot as people give up and go elsewhere!!

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 19:45

Wow!!! It is so hard choosing an agent - I thought I had decided but then I changed my mind!

I think now BK and EB I will go with - I was holding out for B&B but I don't think they are interested!

educatingrita · 21/09/2006 20:04

worth e-mailing them to chase up or the minute you sign up with someone else, they may call you!!

ellesmum · 21/09/2006 20:08

yes i would do the same as it happened 2 me, had just gone with kids london, sent off all the forms and was really pleased, then got a call from b and b saying they had accepted her!!!took them 5 weeks to do that

dylansluckymum · 21/09/2006 20:10

mrratty i think b&b would have said if there was a potential for a buyout because they told me on the phone today that if they use ds' pics for calpol there will be a £400 buyout. mind you they never said anything about the debbie bliss book and surely if a book is published internationally there would be a buyout if they use his pics?? i find it all quite confusing.

b&b rang me about 5 mins after i applied as well i think it depends on where they have shortages that they might answer more quickly. as much as i think dylan is gorgeous (of course!) i can't help but think they must have very few baby boys his age with all the work he's getting. i also think they are a good agency too though!

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 20:22

I am tempted to phone them, but I don't want them to think that I am rude and decide against us on that basis! I can be patient for a while longer.......

They do seem like a good agency - everyone who is with them seems to be busy!

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 20:24

DLM, how many pics did you get from the CM shoot? I'm sure his will get used on the website - he is a mini super star lol!

Also, how do I look at someones profile on here?

housemum · 21/09/2006 20:31

Well done on all of the jobs this week - all the LO's seem to be so busy!

Would be great if yours was the new Calpol Face on the packets - I always wonder when I see packaging with kids on, what would it be like to chuck something in the trolley with your child on it.

Good-ish news for DD - AJ Management have asked to see her - anyone have any hints and tips? As she's only 3 she just needs to have a nursery rhyme. I just hope she's not in one of "those" moods - the other day when I asked her to say a rhyme, she started "Twinkle Binkle Botty Botty" and giggled, followed by singing "pushchair, pushchair, pushchair push" to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle. Admittedly she had had a Fruit Shoot (all they had left where we were out) and she was over-tired...

dylansluckymum · 21/09/2006 20:58

lol housemum i can't wait until ds is old enough for that kind of silliness. of course i say that now! best of luck to your dd!!

kerryarron there's a thread called memberprofiles that you can post photos in. there were about a dozen pics of ds but honestly, they are not good! you can't even see his face properly in a single one. i think the photographer was hungry and was in a foul mood!

kerryarron · 21/09/2006 21:06

Do you want to see mine? They are probably worse than yours though - everyone has been saying theirs are bad but I think they look ok!

ellesmum · 21/09/2006 21:38

my pictures from london shoot came out ok, which suprises me as dd wasnt well on the day but there are some lovely ones of her! some ive seen are terrible, a mum from cn showed me hers and you could hardly see her los face as the lighting was so bad!! kerryann do u want a peek at mine?

educatingrita · 22/09/2006 09:15

housemum- your dd is so gorgeous Im sure A&J will snap her up!
Im sure it was you I met at the farnborough shoot, Im Georgia's mummy.
She just went to the audition for A&J too, and got accepted.
We went to the venue, easy to find in a church and she read a short monologue.
I got the impression confidence is more important as what they actually perform as Jackie the lady who auditioned her made a comment on that.
She said -"oh she's very confident isnt she, Ill definatly take her"
Georgia had to stand on her own in the middle of the hall and read lik she was performing, but I dont think she will expect too much of a 3 year old. Good luck with it, weve got our first casting from them today after only being accepted 2 weeks ago. I only got her photo's done last week!

lindac · 22/09/2006 09:17

Seems like some of you have had your pic's from the cm shoot, was they taken at the london one on sat? glad your pleased with them i cant wait to see mine, are they very good ?

Still waiting on our first call from KL for my dd but it generally seems quite for her age group at the moment
good luck to any of you with any castings and jobs going on x
