DD is going to be on the cover of tommorows Mirror!!!! My best friend was doing the news reviews for tommorow and screamed very exctiedly when she saw her, she's emailed me the cover and it's fab. (it's the mothercare school wear picture)

Quad - that sounds really bizzare and really frightening.

Thorntons - The bigger one is, I will try to get the little one in but it's hard to get a good photo of her at the moment. She has been to a couple of jobs and I always get asked why she isn't signed up.

no email from star now about catalogue so far ethis evening. only quickly checking my emails then off to bed, been out most of evening round a friends, My kids are flat out in bed so hopefully no interuptions from my kids tonight

thortons you mentioned bicester village- which is a bit towards my sort of area, where are you from i thought most on here were sort of based a bit more central to london. We were at Milton keynes shopping last fri. All the sales are still on yet i came away empty handed. seems we brought more in ikea and asda on the way back than the proper shop with no kids!

mratty will buy a mirror tommorow to have a nose-maybe all of the mirrors sales will go up with us lot on here purchasing copies. That is superb!

Quadrophenia ..Sounds like a bit of a headcase! Hopefully when she realises her mistake she will be soooo ashamed and embarassed!! Have a good break away.Is there a friendly neighbour you can speak to who can keep an eye on your house while you are away?

Mratty ,thanks for your email! Have sent one back.Superb and wow ..that is absolutely brilliant ! You must be sooo proud. Heehee are you going to "happen" to wander into your local newsagent with dd tmrw am and see what she says?!!

If I can keep it from her for that long yes!! I am going to call my mum and tell her to go and get one because there is a free CD she will like and she will be so happy when shes sees DD, we got really excited when my mum found the picture in her local paer and that was in the middle in black and white. I think I'll stop gushing now before I get really annoying!!!

I quite like Gunwharf Quay (got some mega bargain shoes in LK Bennett - haven't tried Whiteley Village as have had mixed reports - have you ever been there?)

MrRatty - congrats on the pic. I know the feeling of wanting the whole world to realise that's your LO in print!! Am most miffed that our local bookshops don't stock the DK picture book with dd in so she can't say, "that's the book I'm in" when we're browsing - not that I ever have, of course......

Hiya, Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. My name's Lisa and I'm in north Hampshire. I'm new to this thread, only discovered it tonight. My wee girl (7.5 mths) just got an acceptance email from BK today and have been having a browse of threads on here before deciding what to do about it. Have just posted a piccie of her on member profiles.
I look forward to chatting with some of you, altho it may take me a wee while to get caught up with the number of posts on here!

Yummy - Congratulations on your A, thats really wonderful news, you should be really proud of yourself as you must have worked really hard. Good luck with reaching your goal of becomming a midwife! I assume the JL catalouge will come out in October, I live less than 10 mins walk away from one so will be checking often, if you don't have one near you I can post you a few when they come out.

Thanks everyone for being so supportive, I find it difficult to tell friends with children as I don't want them to think I'm a big headed show off!!!! It's really great to have you guys to share moments like this with. You would expect us all to be in competion with each other but everyone is so happy for each other it's great.

Morning all! Mratty,let us know what dds reaction is when she saw "The Mirror" today ! Thanks for your email too .Gonna pick up a copy when I go out shortly Littlemadam .Great to hear Mothercare job went well yesterday and that ds found himself a girlfriend Let us know as soon as pic is out! My dds M +S pic is sleepwear.pink pjs and dressing gown ,looking sleepy! Also toddler boutique range ,stripy cardi and patchwork jeans ,and plaits in her hair.
