yeah thats what i thought thats why i thought they wernt interested as i phoned them and emailed them and they just kept saying i had to wait thats why i just went with kids L. ive only been with kids for a week and a half, b and b want me to come in for an interview so i phoned them back and said please can u give me a bit more time to decide and they said yes. why do u think they are better than kids?

maybe i should say im interested and go for the interview first then if i like them tell kids london i am going with another agency, and if i dont like them stay with kids. or go with both and which ever one gets my daughter work first oh i dont know!!!!!!!!!!!

HI All

Ellesmum, I wouldnt say that eithr B&B or KL are better. They both get work. On the Littlewoods job DD there was a litle girl from B&B she had done a few bits. At the JLewis job there was two from KL. The little girl had done about 7 jobs and the little boy had done 5 incl: mothercare, and monsoon.

Just my own opinion as my DD was with kids and we had no work.

I realise this is not the experience of many or most but I also didnt find them that approachable either.

Of course as I said thats only us, others have different opinions also whenever I look in Junior its always B+B in every issue! I know they do use KL as well tho....

ellesmum, have you not signed a contract with Kids though? if you have it is probrably a years contract with them so this may count you out joining B+B.

Did you find them friendly when you had an assesment? Things may have changed I guess since my LO one was there, I dont want to offend anyone

hi ellesmum u know that was gonna happen similar thing happened to me, finally deceidede to join a agency and then another one come up, i think personally the times it take bruce and brown to reply is bad and i think that sets me thinking about how much time they take in other things the other agencies seem to answer in a week,and four months on i still have not heard from b+b and i know the letter go there as it was tracked nor was my photos returned when i added a sae, to them, as u know my ds is with kids and they have been brilliant, and in my opnion they seem to all get approached by the same clients anyway so if ur dd has what they want they will get to see her anyway, if u go with both until u get work kids can cancel ur contract as u have signed to be sole rep to them, now, if a client went to both bruce and brown and kids for a job and ur dd got put forwards from both agencies that could cause problems, in my opnion i would stay where u r but thats just me! i just comapared the efficiency of joining the agency to be much better with kids, and ive have given up from hearing from bb, im not saying that bb are not a great agency as i know they are but, i do think they get very similar if not the same clients as each other

thanks mimi and everyone else, i didnt sign a contract with kids london just sent a form back saying i was willing for them to represent her, there was no mention of a contract and i didnt have an interview with them either. i know everyones opinion is different, i will prob go to the interview with b and b and see how it goes, does anyone know if ill be able to cancel with kids as i didnt sign a contract. b and b said they didnt have a contract. i thought that it was bad they took ages to get back me but i know they have a huge client list too so its a hard one.

Hi thumbs, my DD was 5 when she was with them for 18 months.She did 1 job for Debenhams in this time, and not many casting at all.

I do totally agree with mimi though,as I had said. I think they need to sort out the time taken to reply to parents. Yes we know they are busy but so are MOT and Kids etc, they get back to you within a week.
They must lose out on a few kids this way,as most people give up and go with someone else after a couple of weeks??

ellesmum, i'm sure if you found you did prefer BB then it would be okay to leave KL .. test the waters first and see which you are more comfortable with .. or who gets your dd her first job .. hope that's not bad advice!
