VinoQueen - you got a valid point..i haven't thought about it.. i guess i assume my ds will handsome all the way through ... hahaa!!!

hahahehe · 16/12/2005 14:16

sh11,
You must have an error with your BK password as we could only view our little one and I thought that was how they all worked. Unless you are a computer wizzkid and have managed to hack into the database to check out the competition!!!!!!!!

sh11 · 16/12/2005 16:01

I am a computer whizz - but I dont know how to hack its just really simple to view all other profiles. Should I let them know?

tigeryuan · 16/12/2005 16:50

sh11 - you're right. i can view it too, but not until you mentioned it!!!
i don't understand why we could view all kids from 3 years old!!! but, not below...

sh11 · 16/12/2005 19:32

tigeryuan · 16/12/2005 19:46

done. !

hahahehe · 16/12/2005 21:43

Hi Tigeryuan,
Well I have recently switched from BK to Kids London because they are alot smaller and seem to specialise in photographic work which I prefer (television was long and boring and hard work with a little one!) They will have about 6 children my sons age and that is boys/girls//blonde/dark etc so he will be 'unique'!! We have been with them a week and have already had a job.....so I am very pleased! What did you decide in the end??????

tigeryuan · 16/12/2005 22:01

weldone hahahehe !

i like to go with kids london and forget about the money i'd spent on BK!!
i'm more into quality than quantity work,as i'm not sure that i could manage both my ds modelling (if he got chosen) and work (i work full time).

MOT seems a good agency too!! but, i don;t know why i still prefer KL, i think the location does make the difference!

do you know how do i stop the contract with BK? as if i go with KL, they prefer/want sole rep.

marymay · 16/12/2005 22:04

perfumelady. we were a no also.heared this afternoon.you will have to let me know when you get your photos in the post or your password.have a good christmas.

tigeryuan · 16/12/2005 22:05

sorry... i haven't answered your question..
i haven't made up my mind yet!!

what will you choose between MOT & Kids London...
(ignore the fact that I've a contract with BK)

anyone pls?

hahahehe · 16/12/2005 22:26

Tigeryuan
We were lucky enough to have made our money back from BK so it made the descision easier!!
I don't envy you working full time and fitting stuff in - thats why photographic work would probably be easier for you. Our shoot the other day lasted 45 mins! Where as filming for a TV show took 4 1/2 hours!!!

candtfloss · 16/12/2005 23:21

hi all my daughter has been accepted by models direct can someone give me as much information as possible on them please.

candtfloss · 17/12/2005 02:31

has anyone had work from models direct?

tigeryuan · 17/12/2005 09:04

candtfloss - i think the info. from this thread is... DON'T even get there..

so, the answer is NO!!!! its a con!!!
have a look this site for more info.

www.albamodelinformation.com

tigeryuan · 17/12/2005 09:24

thanks hahahehe!!
i would prefer the photographic work too.

any idea how to terminate a contract and how to check whenther my ds has a work licence in place yet?

candtfloss · 17/12/2005 11:15

i feel such a fool thank you tigeryuan.i have just paid for my daughers photo to be uploaded with them.how do they get away with it?

lanismum · 17/12/2005 11:30

just got an e-mail from inspired kids, they want to see my dd on the 28th, anyone been to see them?

perfumelady · 17/12/2005 12:49

candtfloss how did you pay? is there any chance you could cancel payment.

marymay oh i was convinced it would be a yes, never mind least you won't have to treck up to london this near to christmas, i'm sure there will be many more chances for our dd's. you have a good christmas too.

candtfloss · 17/12/2005 13:00

i paid by credit card i dont think thjey will refund me without a fight,i will learn by this mistake, thanks for everyones help,i checked out that web site too.

tigeryuan · 17/12/2005 15:16

candtfloss -- nevermind.. if you refer back to the message on 24 Nov by sh11..she mentioned that MD did have jobs for their kids.. so, may be they've changed the way they operate.

in the mean time, may be you could check out other agencies as well.. good luck!

totallyfloaty35 · 17/12/2005 16:04

Hi All,my girls have been offered places with BK, originally we got turned down.Im thinkin of removing my DD from Kids London as i get the impression when i talk to them that they dont know who we are! I always have to name the town we live in before theres any sign of recognition. The nicest agents i have come across are Bruce and Brown and Moviemites,i think my mistake was not waiting for all replies befor picking an agent.

candyfloss111 · 17/12/2005 16:47

hi tigeryuan, i am appling to everywhere just now,i just need to cross my fingers, the main problem is we live in glasgow alot of agencys are in england,i am not sure of the best agencys in scotland,if anyone knows of any please let me know.

hahahehe · 17/12/2005 21:15

Totallyfloaty35:
You have only been with KL a short while haven't you??? If I were you I would give them a few months and see how you get on - with KL there are probably about 6-7 your DD age compared to BK which will probably be about 30!
Obviously the longer you are with them the more the bookers will recognise you - It may just be a quiet time for your DDs age...hoepfully in January there will be floods of work for her age.
