Hi Trace2. I'm near Cambridge. Off to Childsplay in Beckenham fri, they seem more pricey but have heard good things. Had no's from Urban Angels and MOT Junior. Still keen to know more!!

alliep30 · 18/01/2006 21:58

Thanks Cyan, will try some more tomorrow

trace2 · 18/01/2006 21:59

cyan · 18/01/2006 22:12

Hiya allie

Not long now! Im still hammering away like mad on my computer trying to write up some birth stories for my mag! ALthough not stuck in office am v bored! ALso trying to revise for my exmas which are coming up v soon!
Good luck with your attempts at signing to agency. Give Norrie and Elisabeth a go. You have tried Mot and Urban Angels, Ive heard they can be selective (not trying to put your baby down in anyway - just think they have a small number of kids on their books). What about scallywags? the only thing with them is they close their books from time to time. Check out their website too!
x

tinkerbellchelle · 18/01/2006 22:15

Hi Lanismum,
Yeah we are meeting with Urban Angels on 4th What time is your appointment, I cant remember mine but they emailed me also with directions so will have to double check.

Im pleased they wanna meet with LO as I know they can be selective about who they meet with. I know meeting them doesnt guarantee anything.

Anyway maybe see you there x

mykidsmum · 18/01/2006 22:18

We also live in Devon, so not sure if able to be incredibly flexible - however more than happy to go anywhere if they actually GET the job - rather than running around the country at the drop of a hat for auditions.
Anyone an expert!!! need help!

kazza23 · 10/07/2006 15:24

Hi there. I am new to this site & was looking up some more info for Childsplay models in Beckenham. My son had the assessment carried out with them 2 weeks ago & they were extremely impressed with him (it cost £25) but will cost £170 for a CD-ROM to go out to clients with all his details, plus £60 for a photo shoot, which consists of 10-16 pics being taken & you get a copy to take home. It does seem pricey, but my thought was - you get what you pay for!?! The lady we saw was very proffessional & they have been operating for over 30yrs, they were based in central London before re-locating to Beckenham, Kent. I was shown a profoio of children that have worked with them and some i recognised, which was quite encouraging. The phone rang a few times too, so they seem quite popular. Also, 1 thing i like about them, if your child is not taken on for any work within the year's contract, they will keep your child on there books for a further 6mths free of charge. I have posted of the £170.00 so lets just see what happens! I'll keep you all posted! Karen
