ALLIE: Don't take it personally ...if they are a good agency they should only take you on if they realistically think they could get you work-and if they have too many children who look the same it creates too much in-house competition. I know our agency have about 6-7 children my little ones age and that is boys/girls/blonde/dark etc so each child is 'unique'!
IZZY: What are alphabet kids like?? have they got many on their books??? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you with KL.

It's cool. I understand, that's why i'm trying them all. Would rather have someone honest than pay a fortune and not get any work! Wish my boy would do it he's dark with brown hair and eyes and would even look good in a bin bag... you have to bribe him to even look at a camera..

alliep30 yes they want him but not sure if i want him to go to them, he is with dk of sheffield and had loads of work, but just thought if we went futher afield he may get more,

ds is a little diffrent hes got dark blond hair with very big dark brown eyes

no not realy we dont go to casting, hes been with them 15 months and had 6 lots of work and been very lucky got picked for everyone, hes the one on thomas aqua draw

Oh how lovely. u must be really proud, he's v cute. My son's after one of those, i was dragged to the telly every time it came on.. We only have one interview so far so i'm not sure if baby is gorgeous in my eyes only

ell thats good then because they dont like camra shy its to much hard work and if you think they pay per hour so its there time,

Have any of you tried Norrie Carr or Elisabeth Smith? My ds is with the former, and for a while i was a little unsure but now think they are quite good. My partner was with them when he was a baby! ALl those many years ago which is how i first heard of them. My cousin was also with them as a baby and had a few jobs, including a mcdonalds one. I just never hear Norrie being mentioned.
Alliep perhaps you could try them? Elisabeth Smith is supposed to be reputable too, my ds was accepted by them but i found them a bit costly. I don't know who else is with NC or ES on here?

Hiya,

I havent had to pay entry into the model book as my son missed the cut off date and come to think of it im sure they will take it out of some of his earnings i think? I must go over the paperwork. They charged in the region of £60 for the photoshoot.
Elisabeth Smith charge £130 for the shoot, which I thought was a bit steep compared to NC but then again that may include insertion into the model book. I will have a gander at my emails.

Just had a look over the thread and saw that you are with alphabet kidz. I contacted them and they were keen to sign my ds but wanted £94 did you have to pay this fee?
How old is your child?
