Tinkerbellechelle: Glad that the photo session went well - do you get to keep any of the photos?
Lets hope eveyone has a busy week!! Dont forget to keep in touch xx

tinkerbellchelle · 20/11/2005 20:22

there were some amazingly beautiful babies and children there today. Any mums on here go to the bizzykidz model book photos today? xx

TishTosh · 20/11/2005 20:47

My dd is with Bizzykidz too. I'm also very impressed with them. I find them ever so friendly and they get back so quickly when I e-mail them. Had one job and there was another job, which was confirmed then postponed. It's been quite quiet recently but I assume it's the time of year.

Tinkerbell - do you think it's worth doing the photoshoot?

tigeryuan · 20/11/2005 21:02

Hi everyone. Just happened I came acorss this site when I checked 'Bizzykidz' via googles.

My 21 months old son has just joined Bizzykids last Monday!!! Don't know what to expected to-be-honest. I work full time and son is in nursery during the day!!

hahahehe · 20/11/2005 21:06

Welcome Tishtosh! How old is your DD.....as it may have been the same job we had postponed??? My little treasure is 7months. Did a catalogue shoot for spring/summer a week or so ago so not sure if they are all starting to do them or if this one just comes out early! I would have thought that it did so down for christmas.....any old hands on line who can enlighten us??? does it get quieter at christmas and in January or is it the same???

TishTosh · 21/11/2005 07:22

Hahahehe - she is 8 months old. We were just waiting for a new date. Although, it's been over two months now so might not happen at all. Is that the same with you?

eleanorsmum · 21/11/2005 07:35

HI all, can anyone recommend an agency in the cardiff - or are they all london based? Been told several times my dd has the temperment and looks for a bit of modelling - she is 15mth. ta

tinkerbellchelle · 21/11/2005 09:21

I think for us the photoshoot was good as it was an experience of how a casting would work etc. We had a good time and Reece seemed to love the camera so it was all good fun xxxx

Hello to all the new mummies who are joining this conversation xxxx

sh11 · 21/11/2005 09:26

perfumelady: hi, thanks for the info, i really didn't know you can only be with one agency at a time, when we got offered and joined bizzy' i read that they dont mind u going with other agencies as well as them, so i paid the fee etc, then got asked to join urban' and really want to as their website, work done etc looks excellent, not to say bizzy' isn't - there are no examples. i am interested in quality of work as well as quantity, but guess we'll have to stick with B.

sh11 · 21/11/2005 09:31

what i should have done was wait for all the replies, i am still waiting to hear from kids of london, truly Scrum',mot, rascals, bubblegum, childsplay and elliot brown. thanking my lucky stars did not pay up to modelsdirect - was about to, they really butter u up with comments such as absolutely gorgeous baby, child etc.

hahahehe · 21/11/2005 09:59

sh11, Bizzykidz are happy for you to have another agent..... The best thing you can do is decide what, if any, other agent you want to be with and talk to them directly, explain the situation and see what they say. Best to hear it from the horses mouth where you stand.

tigeryuan · 21/11/2005 10:16

i haven't received the licesing letter from bizzykidz yet(i joined last monday). regarding to the photo shoot, will all kids got invited once you join them? would you mind that i ask you how much it cost you? xx

sh11 · 21/11/2005 10:44

u took the wods out of my mouth i haven't received the licesing letter from bizzykidz yet(i joined last TUE). regarding the photo shoot, will all kids get invited once you join them? would you mind that i ask you how much it cost you? xx

tigeryuan · 21/11/2005 11:04

Hi sh11,
Hahaa!!! We two should keep each other posted!!!
xx

perfumelady · 21/11/2005 13:36

hi everyone, we have been talking about being with one or more agency, what is aloud and what isn't. i would love to know has any body joined more than one agency and got work from both ,do you reckon there would be a high chance that one agency would find out about the other? i can understand that lots of mums probably do think about joining more than one agency, especially if you are a few months down the line and you haven't received any work.

teabags · 21/11/2005 13:58

my ds has been accepted by bizzykidz.I am not sure whether to take it seriously

Sh11 -MOT and Urban Angels told me their books are closed at present.

lanismum · 21/11/2005 14:02

perfumelady-, hi, my dd is wth bizzykidz, shes 8 months old, she hasnt had any work in the 6 months or so shes been with them, i know this isnt anything to do with the agency, mayb my dds look isnt what people are after at the min, but just out of interest, i appled today to urban angels, they e-mailed me back saying i had just missed the end of year intake, but that they wanna see dd in jan. i have heard that bizzykidz dont mind you being with another agency, not too sure about urban angels, i will tell them im with another agency already, and see what they say.

MUM007 · 21/11/2005 14:10

Hi there I think that Bizzykidz are one of the only agencies that allow you to be with other agents. All the others mentioned want you to be solely with them as they dont like the fact that you could receive auditions for the same job which could happen considering casting directors ask many agencies for faces to look at for a job. This could get awkward as who would you go for! Bizzykidz dont mind because the more work you have done the more experience you have for them finding work for you. My daughter is with Bizzykidz and she has had work.It is not regular by any means especially this time of year. But wht she has done is a bonus considering the amount of agencies there are. She is very into acting and she has just got an agent (they want sole representation)but acting is all they represent and they only have about 50 kids they represent and the kids are getting all types of TV and theatre work. But you have to have drama and theatrical training . Bizzykidz in my opinion are the best agency around. They are fair down to earth and above all very very helpful. Ihave recommended a few friends to them. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone.

hahahehe · 21/11/2005 14:28

Hi perfumelady: I think if you join more than one agency without being upfront at the beginning - you stand the chance of losing out with both! If duplicate agents were to put you up for the same job with a casting director they look a bit silly as you are meant to be a 'face' of theirs ..as mentioned earlier, who do you work for? This could put you in a comprimising situtaion with regards to signing a contract agreeing to their T&C's and ignoring them. Just because your little one may not get work for a few months doesn't mean it is any thing to do with the agency - remeber an agent wants to get you work as its there income!!

totallyfloaty35 · 21/11/2005 15:01

Hi All, well after much thought i have decided to have one child with Urban Angels and one with Kids London. Will see how it goes,my eldest used to be with Bubblegum and she had tons of work, but this was 5yrs ago and we dont live in London anymore.A friend was with 2 agencies and when they found out they both asked her to leave. It cant be easy being with 2 agents, not if they put you up for same castings and you get the job,2 lots of commission to pay but only 1 pay packet

totallyfloaty35 · 21/11/2005 15:03

One more thing, my friends child has been offered a contract with Moviemites does anyone know of them?

hahahehe · 21/11/2005 15:17
