or any websites for it?

OP posts:
florenceflying · 21/04/2005 10:52

They were aware I was taping the conversation as I have a recorded message on my tape recorder saying that.
They just forgot that during the conversation.
This reply is for mum007.
First of all a lot of people look at children pictures on the agencies website.
If you go to bizzykids website and look for children over 2 years you can watch any of their pictures.
Some of the other agencies show pictures of babies too.
Your comments do not bother me as obviously you think that being friendly with these people might land you somewhere, I feel sorry for you.
It is only business for them.
They do not see you as a friend but more as a convinience.
I did not record any conversation with bizzykids.
I was talking of models direct and that conversation is already in the hands of watchdog.
I did not need to record any conversation as they did all the job for me.
I just wrote that the site was monitored from them and they replied. Do you need any more prove?
I also proved that you cannot be trusted as you go and report conversations which should be private to others.
Do you have any friends?
Probably not your only friends must be the modelling agencies.
Have a good day my dear.

florenceflying · 21/04/2005 10:57

By the way.
My son has got three audition next week and it has got his first job on the 26th so there you are . I changed agency and I proved that they were not doing their job.
They will not see me again. They are useless

lunavix · 21/04/2005 11:03

I don't really want to add to this debate - ds is with an agency and we've had no work offers BUT it took me 7 months to send his license back!

However - mums with lo's who get offers of work - do you ring them each month and remind them about you? And what do you say?
Or do they just contact you out of the blue?

I remember one mum saying only by hassling them did she get any work - I'd b e happy to do this but no idea wat to say!

SkiBunnyFlummy · 21/04/2005 11:04

My dd was with Norrie Carr. They were nice. She did Blooming Marvellous catalogue, and Prima Baby cover and couple of other little bits.

The pics they took for website were great and we could order copies for a fiver or so.

To be honest it was more trouble than it was worth.

She made about £250 net and has now retired aged 15 months.

MUM007 · 21/04/2005 13:18

Florence Flying you are a sad individual whos main purpose in life is to live your life through your child.Maybe you were one of these people when you were younger that never got the opportunity to fulfill your own ambitions.I am sure the supposed agency you are with now would be pleased to know of your postings on this website and god help them if they do not continue to get your child anymore work. Will we be hearing of another Watchdog or court case? You have aired your strong opinions on this site and to be honest the only reason I now check these threads is to read your ridiculous comments. Good luck to your child in their modelling career I hope they achieve all you want them to. PS Yes my Dear I do have many many friends and I can air my own opinions on this site about an agency. My Beautiful DD does not need me to suck up to any agency to achieve anything as she does it all on her own merit.Anyway as said before enough of these tennis messages. Go get your child famous.

MUM007 · 21/04/2005 13:34

By the way my comments regarding showing childrens pictures on the website was referring to the fact that the agency has all the details of the person that wants to book your child. That is why I said it was controlled. You wouldhave no information on these clients if you were to do it yourself. Thisis all part of the agencys job to protect our children.

florenceflying · 21/04/2005 19:30

You are free to have your opinion.
It is not me that it is full of herself.
I said my kid is not the best looking from the start and I am not looking for fame.
You are the one who splatter on our face the beauty of your child continuosly. May I remind you that beauty is inside and that if your personality shine you can become a star without being beautiful outside because you shine and that is what it counts.
There are millions of beautiful actors, or models around but only few get famous have never asked yourself why?
Babies are beautiful, all of them. They are a gift of god .
My child is not good looking but he is beautiful to me, because he is a gift and I do not care what he look like.
He has got a great personality and he is always smiling and he is also very photogenic.
I know that maybe he will not be famous but I have to give him a chance in life and do all I can to get him somewhere.
He mightgrow to hate this job but chances are that he might like it and make some money for his education out of it.
I frankly do not care what you think of me.
I have never lied, never robbed anybody and always workedvery hard for my money.
I waited 30 years to do the job of my dreams and get diploma but I got it and I am living my dream despite what you think.
I am on maternity leave so I do not make any money at the moment but I decided to do that as I wanted to spend quality time with my baby.
I do not have any money at the moment but I am happy as I am doing what I want, infact I always did what I wanted from when I was 16 years old.
I speak 3 Languages and as you noticed, or better JB noticed English is not my first language.
But I think I am not doing bad for being a foreigner.
You think I am a sad person this is your opinion and I respect this.
You are happy with the agency I am happy for you.
I gave my opinion you can take it or leave it.
I am not God and you do not have to follow what I say.
I want other mum to know this road is not easy and that a lot of people want to make money out of people like us.
Just be careful and do not pay without having a proper face to face conversation with the agengy.
Beware of people they phone you saying your child is beautiful but you need to pay £94.00 to put him on their website.
Go and see them. Check their work and call up the people they said they worked for. Ask them if they ever heard the agency, or if they ever got models from that agency.
It is your money do not get rip off.
I learned my lesson but that was the hard way.
I do not want anybody to go through with that.

BOOKER · 22/04/2005 01:37

I would not normally comment on the ridiculous remarks on this website, however, I simply had to reply to the incorrect information that you have placed on here. My dear, call the Creative Director of Angelina Ballerina Magazine at John Brown Publishing. That is one of the jobs on our website that we have 'made up' according to you. It will be confirmed that we have worked with them every fortnight for the past year and a half and they use a minimum of 2 children each fortnight from our agency. I realise that I should not need to reply to this, however, I am human and my blood boils when people throw around accusations which are completely wrong. I am replying as a human that is being attacked, which anyone would do, regardless of my representing a company. I would also challenge you to call any child casting director in the UK. They ALL use Bizzykidz. I have one baby shooting on the 25th for the Fairy Non-Bio commercial, which was confirmed today. It is 1.30am and I am still in the office submitting children for a German commercial. And I am being quoted in Now magazine, whilst giving advice to parents regarding child modelling. Now, please, give it a rest, you are getting particularly boring. Rather than spend your time trying to find things to moan about, why not share your good experiences around with other parents? They could do with the help it seems and you appear to have good experiences now with your agency, so why not share them?

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 04:41

I have not mention any company name.
All I have said is to phone up companies mention on companies website and this is perfectly legal.
This remark was for mums that want to sign up with an agency, any agency and not bizzykidz in particular.
You should read the all posting.
When I signed up with bizzykids I did not check any credential.
Second time around I did and I am happy I did so.
Now my son is with another agency and he is doing well.
Go figure, same face, same child, no jobs with you, lots of castings with new agency.

MUM007 · 22/04/2005 15:09

Just a thought. As you have been so upfront in namedropping agencies that you have grievances with I find it very strange that as yet you have not mentioned the one you are with now. As you keep stating that this site is for mums to share experiences but you just seem to want to slander agencies that you have been with a matter of weeks and not got a casting. As you have pointed out to me you speak 3 languages.Well i think we all know what they are!!!!! Finally you say I splatter my D beauty continually in your face well could you please point out exactly where that is.Once i referred to D being beautiful.Yes she is to me.Again you miss the point I refer to this in the way that you think i am on some sort of commission from Bizzykidz to put good points across. I only put what I thought of them exactly as you did. Am I not entitled to that? You started this debate and have made some very unjust comments to me also. When challenged you backtrack and start spouting gobbledygook.I feel ashamed of myself for acting like a schoolgirl on here but you just make my blood boil.

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:01

First of all I do not know how you can say what I speak as you do not know my nationality. I am actually British can you believe that? so you will not know what languages I speak unless I told you as I never speak the other two languages unless I need to.
Second I am not going to reveal the name of the new agency as I have just been with them for few weeks.
My little boy got an assignment and three castings next week but I want to see how it goes before telling other mums.
It was not my intention to slug you off in the first place.
You and JB mum started this.
You accused me of mushroom picking if I remember well.
You talked bad about my English.
You told me that my little boy maybe was not suitable for this only because I said He was not the best look.
Now your blood might be boiling but maybe next time you learn not to bully other people.
Yes I am foreigner and my English is not perfect but as I see it was good enough to make your blood boil.
Yes my baby is not the best looking but he landed an assignment ( quite well paid too if you ask me).
And no I have ever picked mushrooms but if you show how to do who knows it?
Do you know what is the difference between a wise man and a fool.
A wise man learn from other people mistakes a fool learn from his own.

Think about it.

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:05

Just to let you know I joined bizzykids end of September beginning of October so was not just few weeks.
I think this stupid fight has gone too long.
MuMs if you want to got to bizzykids go I really do not care anymore.
I wanted to help but it look like thta people do not need my help so do what you want to this old fool.

FLUM · 22/04/2005 17:05

bit feisty on 'ere isn't it ladeeez

watch it you'll get thrown off

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:06

Sorry I meant do not listen to this old fool(me)

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:09

from when I put my first postings I was treated bed and called names.
Read all the comments and you will see.
I did not start that.

astonished · 22/04/2005 17:12

This is ridiculous you are giving parents of babies that model a bad name, give it a rest.

SaintGeorge · 22/04/2005 17:15

Can I just ask if you ever discuss anything else besides your kids modelling careers?

The majority of posters on this thread certainly don't discuss anything else on Mumsnet, so I was wondering if you were the same in RL as well.

astonished · 22/04/2005 17:17

Good question Saint george hehehehehe

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:19

No, but this thread is about kids modelling.
I could discuss other things but than I would have to pick another thread.
This site is fab because you can share your opinion with everybody about anything. The only think is that you have to either look for a thread that interest you or start one.

SaintGeorge · 22/04/2005 17:23

Yes florence this thread is about modelling, but Mumsnet isn't.

There are thousands of threads on here that people look at - are you seriously telling me that the only one that you and certain other posters find interesting is about modelling?

FLUM · 22/04/2005 17:29

child modelling is quite boring and doesn't make much money at all. i did just coz agent was round corner but really was such a hassle.

look out for prima baby this month though!!! hee hee

florenceflying · 22/04/2005 17:32

This is the thread I like at the moment.
Are you suggesting that I have to choose another thread because you want me to do so.
At the moment this is what I like maybe another day I will follow something else.

SaintGeorge · 22/04/2005 17:46

Not suggesting anything of the sort florence.

I asked a simple question aimed at a few posters on this thread who have never posted anywhere else on this site. You responded, although you didn't answer my question. That prompted my reply.

I'm just intrigued, is this really the only thing any of you can think to talk about?

utopia2004 · 22/04/2005 18:18

hi

Can i just say that i havent made any other posts because i dont ussually use forums but i was searching for information about child modelling and this came up, and i found it quite helpfull. That might go the same for many of the other mums on this thread.
dont think it really matter though does it!

xx

astonished · 22/04/2005 18:21
