Hi new here! I live in Glasgow so does anyone know of any reputable agencies near me or are they all in england? Also will eg manchester/london agencies accept clients from further afield?

I hope someone can help

Thanx Jenni & Kyle

Does anybody know of any agencies for babies that dont charge any fees, in the North West area

catoe · 07/03/2005 10:06

Saterday went really well, I think! It well inthe sense that he enjoyed it.. (initially bewildered by the bright lights) but smiled loads, sat still and was generally a good boy thankfully! So wait and see what comes of it. They did tell a few parents to come back in 3 mths when they child can sit still, so that made me feel good. Thanks for the advice Trace2.

sw1964 - i dont think anyone knows any in NW as it seems its all in manchester or there is one in warrington, so ill have to do my homework..

trace2 · 07/03/2005 14:23

radjules, do you live near shefield if so i know of a good agency. first steps say that assinmemts normally take place after school and at weekends its not true most are in the week, and you should not pay for administration costs.

trace2 · 08/03/2005 10:30

biglips · 08/03/2005 11:30

Carmy - im thinking of taking my DD (5 months old) to Eurokids in warrington, did they charged you any sort of fees? im gonna ring round tmrw in lpool as all these agencies on here are mostly in london.

Muller · 08/03/2005 15:12

My 10 month old daughter is on the books for Scallywags in Ilford. She did a job for Next in November. I enrolled her last October and paid £85 for her place in the model book plus £20 for the cost of the interview (which you pay whether successful or not)! The job she did only took half an hour and she was paid 100 pounds, but the agency took 20 per cent of that. Dont think they are a rip off, but do think they take too long to pay the wages (took 4 months to come through). Hoping she gets some more work anyway. The other thing is i have sent 5 pictures of her for them to update the website photo and as yet they havent changed it.
May try another agency next year. Any recommendations?

girl · 08/03/2005 15:45

hi i have heard model direct is a con they wanted my son but i never signed with them. i have interview with elisabeth smith next week but they only wanted one of my children. also bizzy kidz want two ofmy kids not sure about them can any one help

Muller · 08/03/2005 18:56

Have heard Elizabeth Smith are one of the genuine ones, along with bizzy kidz and scallywags and Juliet Adams, what are the fees for Elizabeth Smith?

girl · 08/03/2005 20:07

Hi Muller, the fees for elisabeth smith are 30 for the interview then a hundred pound and bizzy kidz is 94 not sure wot to do

Muller · 08/03/2005 20:12

Difficult to know what is best - why dont you go with the one that wants both kids, at least they will be working for same agency. I might change to bizzy kids when annabels contract with scallywags runs out, especially if she doesnt get another job from now til october. Reading all the comments on this site, it bizzy kidz seems to have a lot of positive feedback
