SECRET KIDDIES XMAS SWAP - PLEASE READ!!!

Ok, inspired by everyones generosity and an idea I saw I'm suggesting we do a secret kiddies christmas swap.

How it would work is this. If you want to sign up your child(ren) then you list them here. Their ages (don't have to give their names)sexes and their likes and dislikes.

Then you will email me your address. I will then give each person one address and the poster whose child they are swapping presents with. The present will have a value between £1 and £5, I say value cos then you don't have to buy anything new. But it must be in good enough condition to give as a present iykwim.

So then your children would get a surprise gift from a total stranger.

Ok this sounds stupid doesn't it?

Anyone game?

Thank you very much for DD's books and playdough. She has not used them yet as she was too engrossed with the dollies and puschair we got her

SenoraPostrophe · 27/12/2003 15:40

Janhr - thanks a lot for dd's pressie. We have so far read it about 20 times and it's helping with her English vocabulary a treat!

Happyhollyhulababy - yes it was me! I'm glad you liked it: I had searched for some kind of girly dressing-up accessory (both for your dd and mine) but only found cheapo rubbish. Your dd sounds a lot like mine - when not reading she plays continuously wih her new baby Chouchou, which is now wearing all of dd's new christmas clothing!

HappyHollyHulababy · 27/12/2003 20:24

Thanks senorapostraphe - the camel would appear now to belong to Baby Annabel! As it is a little teddy, DD says it is her baby's as they came from Santa together

Thanks for arranging all this Pie. It was a fab idea!

pie · 27/12/2003 20:28

You're all VERY welcome

So join the January swap NOW if you haven't already

are we allowed to guess out loud who our secret santa was?
before you post the list tomorrow???

StarryStressyHead · 27/12/2003 22:26

Thanks to our Secret Santa too for the perfect gifts. ds has built his UFO and dd loves her squeaky fluffy duck. She currently has it tucked under her chin in bed!

I'm pretty sure I know who you are too!

Mummysurfer · 28/12/2003 16:31

Thank you to our SeCret SaNta.
DS loves his train book - we've been singing the songs over and over again.
Altho' we haven't yet started DD's wind chime we've read the instructions and altho' she's very excited she's agreed to leave it to a day when we've more time to do it properly.

Are we allowed to say who we think it's from yet?
I reckon ours came from m----e.
Thank you m----e

popsycal · 28/12/2003 16:32

for H it was a puzzle - bit of rope thing and small ring thing to detangle. Oooo, I make it sound sooo technical!
A - a dinosaur card game, well i think it was dinosaurs.
hope this helps - both from M&S if you need a further clue!

Thanks so much Harman, DD loves her Fimbles jigsaw puzzle. Poor old Fimbo has already been sucked to death (not a bad way go, admittedly !!).

You are most welcome Popsy . May DS get many hours of play out of them !

glad your kids liked the pressies mummuysurfer.

jj, my kids loved their prezzies, tho i havent been allowed to play the cd's yet as they have a mountain of dvd's and other cd's to get thro, the clubland cd has permently lodged inself into play (tho thats my fault lol). the markers were a great sucess, i havent seen magic colour changing markers for years.
