SECRET KIDDIES XMAS SWAP - PLEASE READ!!!

Ok, inspired by everyones generosity and an idea I saw I'm suggesting we do a secret kiddies christmas swap.

How it would work is this. If you want to sign up your child(ren) then you list them here. Their ages (don't have to give their names)sexes and their likes and dislikes.

Then you will email me your address. I will then give each person one address and the poster whose child they are swapping presents with. The present will have a value between £1 and £5, I say value cos then you don't have to buy anything new. But it must be in good enough condition to give as a present iykwim.

So then your children would get a surprise gift from a total stranger.

Ok this sounds stupid doesn't it?

Got my (sorry - DD's) pressie in today's post. Yeah! Excited now . Do have a clue who it's from though; the stamp gave it away first Very impressed that it is here in good time. It has gone on the pile for Father Christmas to collect and check tonight.

WSM - The postcode written on the back of the envelope you received is a bit of a false lead I'm afraid. I reused the envelope that one of my parcels arrived in from another mumsnetter. I forgot to cover it over before I sent it which is why it is covered in scribble. I only noticed when I got to the post office.

I definitely know who one of my parcels is from now, I knew anyway and they have sort of confirmed it now.

I haven't got mine either, though I think I know it's been sent! I had a card from the post office when I got in from work, saying something needed signing for - they will try again tomorrow (as I have day off yippeeee).

right, i am so sorry, have been moving this week, actually got the pressies to send out earlier this week, but atm they are under a pile of other things to be sorted. they WILL be done at the weekend and sent out.
