Oasis - The Reunion (Definitely?! Maybe?!)

Ok, slightly a TAAT....

I'm putting this here for all those that are actually happy and quite excited about the prospect of Oasis getting back together.

For me, Oasis was the soundtrack to my coming of age, venture into adulthood. I was 19 when DM was released, and I still play it often.

My first Oasis gig was Knebworth - 4 hours I spent on the phone trying to get tickets for me and my friends!

Lucky enough to see them a further 6 times over the years, one of the best was on the Dig out your soul tour at Bournemouth with a full gospel choir, it really was magnificent.
Also saw them at Wembley stadium, the last night of 3 when they played Whatever - they rarely played it and it was the first time in years, again such a moment and just a couple of months before they fell out.

So, I know I'm in a minority on here but I'm definitely getting up tomorrow before 0800 (which will be a pain as I'm on a 12 hour late shift later!)

I think you can join the 'waiting room' a half hour before sale starts.

Some say data is better than WiFi, that's probably dependent on where you live.

I got thrown out earlier tonight for rejecting too many (about 4) but I'm sure I rejected more for TS!

Can anyone who got tickets tonight tell me if you had to choose the venue/date before you got through to the ticket page?

Yes, you have to click on a specific date and then choose your price bracket/seating/standing.
Try not to bounce back too many offerings is my advice!
It's a shame that you can't physically choose from available tickets.

If the OP entered the queue at 5000 then it suggests that the ballot wasn’t overly huge maybe 10000 codes for 40000 tickets. This is probably 10% of the tickets available. Worth a go tomorrow.

I think it depends on which venue / date as to how big the queue is. I entered at 9700 for Wembley and got tickets 25 minutes after the sale opened.

We're going to Wembley! But that's thanks to lovely BIL so no idea about the process, except that he said it was very stressful!

Didn't get a code but got ticket master and gigs and tours ready. Apparently 90% of tickets are still available

I've just tried to get on ticket master and I'm in a queue to get on the website never mind the tickets!!

Also app is not working 😩😩

No joy on the Ticketmaster app either but I'm in the queue on the website, from my holiday sun lounger where it's already 32 degrees! (disclaimer BIL did get tkts last night so these are for an extra set to go with friends so I'm slightly less stressed)

so Ticketmaster crashed for both of us on laptops straightaway. DH got through to the select your tickets on TM on his phone - repeatedly got a ‘something went wrong’ message - and then was blocked for being a bot. Still in queues for TM, G&T and Seetickets but not hopeful.

2 devices got suspended for being bots!
The app is not even recognising the event.

I am in a queue now on my final device with 85000 people in front of me!

DH has 75000 in front of him, I have 101700 in front of me - so no great expectations…

Same! Still in queue to get on all 3 platforms and they are not moving very fast. Not hopeful either, what a bloody waste of a morning this is looking to be!

Well… looks like it’s not just us having trouble…
