Oasis - The Reunion (Definitely?! Maybe?!)

Ok, slightly a TAAT....

I'm putting this here for all those that are actually happy and quite excited about the prospect of Oasis getting back together.

For me, Oasis was the soundtrack to my coming of age, venture into adulthood. I was 19 when DM was released, and I still play it often.

My first Oasis gig was Knebworth - 4 hours I spent on the phone trying to get tickets for me and my friends!

Lucky enough to see them a further 6 times over the years, one of the best was on the Dig out your soul tour at Bournemouth with a full gospel choir, it really was magnificent.
Also saw them at Wembley stadium, the last night of 3 when they played Whatever - they rarely played it and it was the first time in years, again such a moment and just a couple of months before they fell out.

So, I know I'm in a minority on here but I'm definitely getting up tomorrow before 0800 (which will be a pain as I'm on a 12 hour late shift later!)

I've not heard back re pre sale I'm assuming I'm not going to now??

You should get your confirmation email by 10 tomorrow ….then if you are sucessful in pre sale, you will receive an email with a code by 5pm tomorrow ….times have all changed

Pre sale Info is included in the email you will ( if you're very very very lucky) receive by 5pm tomorrow night. If you don't get a pre sales code in the ballot you're in the queue at 8am on Saturday.
At this moment no one (in the general public) knows what the presale is going to offer.

Incidentally over ONE MILLION people googled for the name of the original drummer.

I'm not paying that.

They may regret putting on those extra nights as I bet a lot of people will hold off if the tickets are more than £100.

Is everyone going to try the 3 agencies selling the tickets or just stick with Ticketmaster which seems to be the main one? I believe you can sign into Ticketmaster at the same time using different devices. Just trying to figure out the best strategy. So stressful!

I’m be signed up to all 3. I read somewhere that the presale code will be for one of the 3 but you don’t know which until you get the email - so thought it safer to have signed up to all 3. But I don’t know how true that is

With Taylor Swift, Ticketmaster would only let you use one device.

I'm planning 3 devices across the 3 platforms.

Ah, I read you could log into Ticketmaster on different devices and that they were doing the pre-sale but who knows!

That does seem fairer and I wouldn't expect it to be different for Oasis. 3 agencies it is then! I can't see anywhere on the Seetickets account I just set up to add billing info? Stressful if I have to do at checkout.

Apparently all codes have been sent out. Has anyone been lucky in the ballot?

4 people I know got code emails about 1230 ish…l.but they have all received 2 code emails with different codes…..so worried now that there’s been a fuck up and not sure which ones to use

Oh dear. Maybe no one will get priority if there has been a software f-up. Doesn’t bode well for tomorrow.
Also if they have sent out two codes to everyone there is a possibility you either end up with no tickets or potentially double the number allowed.
Knowing the Gallagher brothers the ballot could be a massive wind up.

I can assure you not everyone got two codes. I know at least 40 people who applied and only one has a code.

And that code is for tonight not tomorrow. 7pm tonight for presales code.
