Oasis - The Reunion (Definitely?! Maybe?!)

Ok, slightly a TAAT....

I'm putting this here for all those that are actually happy and quite excited about the prospect of Oasis getting back together.

For me, Oasis was the soundtrack to my coming of age, venture into adulthood. I was 19 when DM was released, and I still play it often.

My first Oasis gig was Knebworth - 4 hours I spent on the phone trying to get tickets for me and my friends!

Lucky enough to see them a further 6 times over the years, one of the best was on the Dig out your soul tour at Bournemouth with a full gospel choir, it really was magnificent.
Also saw them at Wembley stadium, the last night of 3 when they played Whatever - they rarely played it and it was the first time in years, again such a moment and just a couple of months before they fell out.

So, I know I'm in a minority on here but I'm definitely getting up tomorrow before 0800 (which will be a pain as I'm on a 12 hour late shift later!)

@GuessingGownaGoGo I'm hoping not as well as I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding at 1.30pm so will be rather pre occupied at 12pm! And typically there is a set time for breakfast on the Saturday, you guessed it, 9am...I think we will be missing that if no success in the pre sale!

I’ve just had my confirmation email even though it wouldn’t let me submit the page because I didn’t tick/ accept the SMS marketing!

Thanks to whoever suggesting blocking premium texts, I will do that.

DS did his yesterday and has had email confirmation that he will go into the ballot.
We currently have a syndicate ( friends and family) poised to throw everything at getting tickets on Sat morning. A good tip is to turn off VPN on your device so the Ticketmaster doesn’t suspect you are a tout.
I have warned DS that we may not be successful.

Hopefully you will have your tickets by Friday !

Yes - I didn’t even get to the page with the question as I couldn’t get past the first page (as mentioned above) but I’ve still had the email! Must be similar to websites that email you with offers for items in your basket when all you’ve done is enter your email address and you haven’t proceeded.

Lol DS is a groomsman on Saturday and was saying the groom is onboard with getting tickets but he's not too sure about the bride. I said it won't matter tickets sales will be over by 8.15. And the groom won't have seen the bride by them so all good.

DS and I both got confirmation emails early hours of this morning.

Bit worried about the VPN issue as we are overseas and couldn't get any information at all via Ticketmaster in our country so had to set up a uk account via a VPN.

Three more dates added, ch ching! Cash splashdown for the eyebrow crew and more chance for us to get tickets. Feel slightly smug seeing the predictable news here in Edinburgh about hotel gouging, we live walking distance from the stadium. Much good it'll do us if we don't get tickets so fingers on the button folks.

Yes,.I was going to try for London and make a little trip of it….but now I’m going to go for Heaton park as that’s our closest cos hotels will cost ££££ …..will just drive instead …..getting ahead of myself though!

I got a confirmation email in the early hours of this morning. I wonder how many tickets they'll release as presale?

People are grumbling online about ticket prices, have they not left the house recently?! We paid over £200 each to see Springsteen at Cardiff.
