Oasis - The Reunion (Definitely?! Maybe?!)

Ok, slightly a TAAT....

I'm putting this here for all those that are actually happy and quite excited about the prospect of Oasis getting back together.

For me, Oasis was the soundtrack to my coming of age, venture into adulthood. I was 19 when DM was released, and I still play it often.

My first Oasis gig was Knebworth - 4 hours I spent on the phone trying to get tickets for me and my friends!

Lucky enough to see them a further 6 times over the years, one of the best was on the Dig out your soul tour at Bournemouth with a full gospel choir, it really was magnificent.
Also saw them at Wembley stadium, the last night of 3 when they played Whatever - they rarely played it and it was the first time in years, again such a moment and just a couple of months before they fell out.

So, I know I'm in a minority on here but I'm definitely getting up tomorrow before 0800 (which will be a pain as I'm on a 12 hour late shift later!)

I saw them twice, once in Manchester and once at Wembley. They were amazing gigs but now I wouldn't be that bothered to see them but I wasn't a mad fan and I don't listen to the music now.

I've signed up for the ballot but I don't really understand it? It's still first come first served and no guarantee of tickets?

so you sign up…..you get an email ( likely today) and you have to click on thsi to verify…….then on Friday 30th some lucky people will get an email with a code that can be used to get pre sale tickets……if you don’t get an email on Friday….then you are going for Saturday tickets like most people

It will explain in the email…but basically you will need a Ticketmaster account as ticket master is doing the presale….if you haven’t got a code email by 12 noon Friday then you haven’t been sucessful in the ballot….check your spam for your verification email today

Me and DP have both just got our ballot confirmation emails, it now says you will be emailed by 9am Friday so wondering if 12pm is the actual presale time.

Same. We met at university and both love Oasis. Our two sons were brought up on them. I’ve managed to get in the ballot for Friday. Keeping fingers crossed x

Think 12 will be the presale time…it’s been bandied on SM…. I got my email now…just confirmed

no ones got in the ballot yet….you will hear on Friday morning before 9 if you are sucessful…..you have just confirmed your application that’s all….but good luck anyway

Had an argument with my 13 year old last night, apparently he 'knows more about Oasis' than I do. Oh really! I said, well what's the first line of Wonderwall? He looked slightly bored and said 'today is going to be the day they're going to throw it back to you?'.

Right OK. Whatever.
