Yes, makes me love him even more too. His passion for music was so strong that I guess it made him determined to overcome any difficulties he had so that he could perform.

My son plays the drums really well, also plays the bass guitar a bit and the guitar a bit, but his real passion is making music on the computer. So pretty creative. The other one is studying music at Uni. So lovely to hear that your little one loves singing and I'm sure they'll both get into music, they're getting a really good introduction!

I was at Glasto. I donned my best purple party frock and new Hunter wellies. The mud was horrific this year. I traipsed all the way up to the naughty corner where hot chip were doing their Prince set. Can I just say, it looked fantastic sadly I was stuck at the barrier and no one could get in, I was gutted it was rammed. I was there and I can't say there were any other tributes. It was exceptionally bad mud though. Maybe there was I just never made it. I'm planning a road trip next year for my 50th. It depends whether Paisley Park is going to open as to whether I take a detour otherwise I'm doing Graceland.

He seemed to have an understanding about his legacy.

It's,kinda ironic how controlling he was in life and now his money is going to random heirs and youtube is flooded with his songs and live performances. Great for us as fans but I'm sure some stuff he wouldn't have approved of.

However, if there is a heaven, he's up there jamming with James Brown, Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Sly Stone and the rest of the greats!

I went to see Under The Cherry Moon at the cinema this evening. Everyone says it's awful but I loved it, it was so funny and Prince was very sexy!

Shboogiebop I loved it too, very sweet....chains of gold on the other hand - have you seen that?! So weird! I didn't have a clue what was going on!! Prince looked amazing in it thou, and him and Mayte were so cute 😍

Haven't heard of Chains of Gold, so that's another one I need to look out for!
