This is the feedback thread for the Mumsnet users who have been testing Stikins stick on name labels. This product was open to UK Mumsnet users who have at least one child at primary school.

All in all these were easy to use and did the job. However I have use other brands of sticky name labels that really do not budge, and which you can personalise more. In co.parison to those Stickins fell short in quality so I won't be swapping brands.

One of the jumper labels is peeling a little bit still mostly stuck. The others are all doing fine so far. Ask me again in a few months!

Probably didn’t need the plastic bag for the stickers, the envelope would have been enough.

The website was very user friendly and I was able to place my order very easily.
The confirmation was very quick and informed me that my labels were on their way etc. So I didn't need to worry about where my products were or when they would be delivered.
The information was really easy to follow and the amount of packaging was just right for the product. Nothing excessive
The labels were very easy to use and the instructions easy to follow.
I stuck the labels onto my daughters uniform and shoes and they still look great even after quite a few washes and dare I say it sweaty feet.

All survived but one. I added one to the tag at the top of his school jumper but the sticker was about a millimeter to big and it came off after a few days of wash and wear. It does state to only put on wash label so that's my fault not the labels.

Yes I was pleased with the service. The email arrived promptly and informed me of an expected delivery date. I had all the information I needed.

I would have preferred to receive the labels without the plastic. I ordered two packs and received two sets of plastic. The information provided was clear and helpful.

The labels were REALLY easy to use. I got a bit carried away and stuck them on almost anything that left the house.

They survived really well. I have washed them, tumble dried them, ironed them and scrubbed them (inadvertently- on the lunch box). All survived in perfect condition.

My only other comment is that I would rather something that can be attached into the main body of my child's clothes. Firstly, the wash care labels can be hard to find to check a name, and secondly they are very easy to snip out if someone wanted to pinch things!

It was user-friendly and intuitive, no point browsing when easy to do what you’re there for and leave. Easy to browse and find what I wanted even using phone.

Great service, kept well informed during the order process. Received confirmation email which mentioned possible delays due to pandemic and this help set expectation. Ordered evening of 25th May and received on 27th May which wasn’t a long wait at all. Will highly recommend.

Too much plastic though the labels were really protected. Some unnecessary items included with my order about fundraising.

Instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to apply on items of clothing and other bits too even tried on the back of a mobile too. Good wash care instructions which help know how to maintain the labels so they last longer.

It hasn't been long, but for now they have been staying nice and strong, need to check how long these will survive as I used similar before and after couple months and after all that washing they started to unstick and had been useless. Found them all in washing machine. So I guess just need more time to see if these will be better.

4. Labels peeled easily from backing paper and adhered firmly to clothing care labels, inside shoes and onto water bottles/packed lunch tubs with ease.

6. A few weeks in now and no signs of wear/coming unstuck. These appear to be a good quality product and are so convenient to have to hand as new uniform items/shoes/sports equipment/stationery etc arrives into (& then leaves!) the house.

Yes I was pleased as I received a confirmation email shortly after ordering providing all information I needed and then another email letting me know when the labels had been despatched.

The labels arrived in a simple envelope inside a clear bag along with a page explaining how to use the labels. This was perfect as it easily fits through the letterbox.

The instructions were very clear and easy to understand/follow. I easily placed the labels on to the items that I needed to.

All perfect still after wear and washing. They look the same as they did when they were first placed there. Very impressed and pleased.
